How do I manage my email lists without sending out a confirmation email

    Hi Guys,

I am visiting a lot of freshers fairs and hoping to get a lot of email addresses from people signing up to the site.

All the email companies that I have looked at require you to send out a confirmation email to users. They have to click on this to accept your email marketing.

I dont really want to do this. I think it will put people off.

Does amyone know of any companies I can sign up to that dont require that?

    Thanks very much

    Oli

i am not aware of any email marketing that does not send a confirmation email to opt in. I think it's just the name of the game with this marketing medium.

Getresponse have an option for you to use single opt-in. Just be careful with single opt-in option, because you're risking trouble with CAN-SPAM act.

Strongly suggest you go with double opt-in and use a reputable autoresponder service to minimise any possible issues around unsolicited email accusations.
