ezine is a good source of traffic and all the articles i submit there, i get a decent % of click through. if you are not getting any clicks on your exine links, then you are not doing something right. your article title need to have your keyword and the title needs to be attractive so that it promotes curiosity. construct your author bio in such a way that insprires people to click on the link for more info. do a little keyword research and implement the keywords in your title, article body, as well as on author bio. if you do things right, you are bound to get some traffic form your article submission
Your signature itself should be a source of motivation for you. I don't know much about article marketing but directory submission and commenting on blogs are not that bad, do try them.
It is really good that you are experienced writer and loves to write Content Genuine Content which is easily acceptable on EzineArticles. Your problem of 10 articles per day wont solve the issue of receiving 40-50 uniques per day! the issue is for whom you are writing for... Search Engines or Public! Write for Quality not for Quantity! If you maintain the speed of 2-3 articles per day with better improved quality! I am sure you can get tons of traffic because Google.com likes Consistency of Relevant Content!
You are experiencing what 97% of marketers do. There is quite a bit more to building an online business than creating a site and submitting some articles. Marketing is multi faceted. You have to wear a lot of hats. Having said all of that.... Article Marketing is a very good way to drive traffic and make sales. But there are right ways and ...well let's says ways that won't earn you many sales. Since you have writing experience and are getting articles accepted at Ezine With a few adjustments you may be off to the races... It has many aspects to it... One is the article itself and some of the advice above was solid info Like.. 1.The Title with your keywords 2. Captivating Title 3. Captivating Sig Then there is the aspect of getting the most out of your articles and getting back links. It's called "syndication" and there are many effective ways of getting the most out of the content you produce. It's a good idea to focus on one or two means of driving traffic and then add more as there are many. Keep in mind that there are many variations to each method of driving traffic and you need to become efficient at each one first. At least until you can earn enough to outsource and expand your horizons so to speak... Hope this helps a bit...
Build your website around the keywords that you're targetting. Also make sure that your keywords is not competitive, otherwise it will take a long time for it to reach first page. You will need to do a lot of onsite and offsite optimization. Submit your website to directories will help. And use social bookmarking.
Directory submission will not bring any harm, then a competitor can easily harm a quality ranking website? In turn, it can help your rankings, if you submit to popular and quality free directories edited by humans, niche directories, etc. Regarding commenting, those links will not pass benefits, it may have NO FOLLOW tag or search engine's are now clever to identify those links and discount the value.
