How Long for a Wire Transfer from Russia??

    Hi,

    I'm waiting for the payment to arrive in my HDFC india account.

    Its already been six days, but no sign of money. Did anyone had experience in this regard.

    P.S. This is the first wire transfer being sent to my account since it was created 6 months ago.

    Well, if everything is correct it just takes only 2 to 3 working days for a wire transfer to come.
    Ask the one who sent it about the progress.

    what a coincidence! i am also waiting for waiting for wire transfer from europe to HDFC. It has been 5 days and no sign yet.
    Usually i get wire transfer sent from US credited within 3 days. I am not sure if there are more holidays in between.

    I finally got it on 8th day. however, they asked me to submit some proof's, before releasing the funds

    Well, this might sound ridiculous, but they asked me to show proof that the money was not sent to my account mistakenly by someone.

    The payment was from a website sale. i guess i will shift my account to icici soon

    I got a wire transfer within 2 days. It's good you got the payment but the bank was really silly to ask you for such proof. I think changing bank will be good.
