How to determine if a domain has been banned from AdSense

Im going to buy few domain names from different owners, but im not sure if i can trust them because im worry that their domain names might be banned from AdSense previously. So how can i check whether a domain name is banned, i know you will suggest me to use AdSense preview tool but 1 domain is a parked page and another one is a blank page with a logo. I've also emailed AdSense team and gave them the domain names so that they could verify whether they are banned or not but they just sent me this reply:

So what should i do? I don't want to spend alot money on a domain but get a banned domain which i couldn't use. Should i email AdSense team everytime i buy a domain or it is safe to buy a domain from another owner eventhough his domain is previously banned.

If the domain is banned from Adsense, no ads would display.

Dosent matter. You can use the AdSense preview tool to see if ads are displayed.

    This is very confusing:

    1) I tried AdSense preview tool on the domain with and without www. and the outcome is without www. the tool show ads, with www. the tool show this message:
    2) The owner removed all the pages on the site and I tried AdSense preview tool on cache page, the outcome is the tool show ads on cache page.

So is those domain names banned by AdSense? I don't think the article by Jensense provide much help because she don't have a concrete answer.

If you see ads using the preview tool with or without www then the domain might not be banned. Give us the domain name (can pm me) so that we can help you more.

If you try the preview tool on the cached page then the domain you are checking is Google.com and not the domain you want to check.

Since you say preview tool on cache page is checking Google.com, then preview tool on parked page also is checking parking site eg: Sedo or Afternic right?

This link may or may not work for you, let me know https://adwords.google.com/select/S...nt=siteselection&utm_campaign=aug05navigation

When you ad a site based targeting ad, it lets you search for sites to place your ad on. They keep a historical record of any site where ads have been placed, so that you can target ads to those sites, however, if the site was banned, they would not appear on this list.

For this, you need an adwords account but you can register for free at least and try that. If you already have an account, with a site targeted ad, it's just a matter of going in and trying to add a site, you will see the option to target to a particulate domain and from there, you enter the domain. If the search results come back empty and you know it previously had ads on it, then it's more than likely a site that has been banned.

    Hope this helps.

AdSense doesn't ban domains, they ban accounts. If there was a problem with the account that happened to put ads on that domain in the past, it shouldn't matter. If you have problems with ads displaying on a domain, you can probably just send an email to AdSense, explaining that you have just purchased the domain and are putting a new website up on it.

I have never tried this myself, so you might want to check with Google to verify this.

Are you sure that we won't get into trouble if we bought a domain that is previously banned by AdSense. I emailed AdSense team but they just reply me this. So issit safe to say that we don't have to worry about the domain and go ahead to buy it?

If you have been an AdSense publisher for a while, and you set up a brand new site at a previously banned domian, I don't see why Google wouldn't re-enable it. But like I said, I have never personally done this, so it might not be that easy.

That is not the case, I've seen google ban domains across it's network including it's search results, adsense, adwords even gmail. While an account ban usually causes the persons themselves to get banned it can include a domain.

Im talking about how to determine a domain name which is previously banned by AdSense. As i know if you use a domain which the previous owner's account is banned by AdSense then you will get into trouble right? That is why before i buy the domain i want to know whether the domain is safe to be purchased.

Short of asking Google, this is the only way to find out.

PS. If you would like to PM me the domain(s) I can do the search for you. While I can't guarantee the results, I am pretty confident the above is correct.
