I am thinking to build an e-commerce website. I am now looking for a CMS software. So, anyone has some idea which one I should consider?
First you should know that, whether your hosting provider has E-commerce website enabled on your site. All the hosting provider does not give you this features. But, most hosting provider like freesite2you.com , Godaddy.com, Hostgator will have a built in script to use for your E-commerce site. You need not manually upload and install the e-commerce software to your website, rather you can just install the e-commerce script easily with one click with these script installer. So, I best suggest yout o choose a hosting provider with such features.... I suggest you to choose http://freesite2you.com as your hosting provider as they have many features than many hosting sites. They provide cheap hosting for just $10/year. To Start with, 1. Just visit the site and register your account. 2. Login to your Cpanel and you can see a link "I vista script installer" to install the desired e-commerce script into your wensite. 3. Then publish your website and make money... Hope this would help you... Have a Happy hosting....!
Top of the list depending on your knowledge of code etc are: CubeCart Open Cart Magento x-cart CS-Cart Shopify Wordpress + plugins
You are welcome. You could also check out things like foxycart / foxcart (I forget the name) that let you run a 'lightbox' based cart over your site really easily.
If you like php much , maybe try Interspire ISC paid cart script or its hosted version:BigCommerce My friend is using it.
