    I used mostly the social networks, to gain traffic,and id say it costs a few hundred bucks to actually get the right site up,and running for You.

    First Step is finding which affiliate programs to sign up with,
    For me it was "web hosting"
    I created a niche website, based on "web hosting"

    and then I marketed it like crazy!

    If you use CJ on a good niche site like yours the revenue can be very big,i am setting up another site at the moment in the iphone niche just had all the affilates approved so the site should be live in a few days,well done on such a nice monthly revenue.
