Blog or regular site?

Hello,

I would like to know what is better for SEO, build a blog, such as Wordpress style or to build a regular site?

This is matter?

I have an idea, I would love to hear what do you think.

I think to build a regular site with the keywords based articles, and in a subdomain to build a blog that we tell the readers about me and my work.

If you are going to post articles to your site regularly I would suggest blog, add some p;lugins such as xml sitemap and everytime you post a topic all the search engines get pinged and it brings traffic - IT DOES WORK! You can also add All in One Seo pluging works a treat

 

I think Blog is the good option if you keep on doing postings regularly as search engines love fresh content as well as people also like to read different and fresh content...

Mate, website and blog; both can be used for business.

Website: If you are offering any services or products, or if you are going for your very own portfolio site, than it would be better to launch a separate site (than blog). This way, visitors can easily navigate your site and services (if you are offering any) on your site.

Blog: Blogging; when it comes to business blogging, it is a great source not only to increase the weight of your content (for SERPs), but also a good channel to bridge the gap between customer and site owner. Business blogging is widely used to offer customer friendly environment, where webmasters write different posts on their related services or products not only to help their visitors about their services/products, but also to announce anything new on their portfolio/products.

One story short, if you are going for a professional website, than I would suggest you make different site and add your blog as a subdomain (www.yoursite.com/blog)

I have one of each. I recommend a website. However, I dont have much evidence to support my oppinion. But, I do read a lot about webmaster stuff and seo and a website seems better, even though a blog is pretty good as well..

 

I prefer blog, because easy to maintain and can earn much money.

 

I would prefer blog since you can update it timely by posting blogs every day.

 

It depends on what you intend to create.
If you want to have a CMS based application for free, then Wordpress is the best option. Else, go for a static website if there are very few and minor updates on your website.

 

Blogging takes a load of the initial SEO work and can get your site indexed faster, especially with the All in One SEO package. However, I feel for commercial uses having your own website always serves as the best preference via professional graphics and easier html editing.

 

You can actually have a blog made into a regular site, especially if you use wordpress. There are many plugins that are available, it is also easy to maintain. That is why I normally tell my clients to go in that direction when I design sites for them. Its also really good for seo.

Well I personally think a site looks more professional. Also if your competition isn't all that tough then you can go with a blog that is considering you want a free blog. But if it is a bit tougher than your own site would be a better choice.

 

I can only tell you that this is a system which needs to do a lot of related things outside your chain of building construction within the chain

 

for a static website you must create good content which must be organized in good format and then you should get good back links. For a blog you must just keep on posting good and unique content.... you will get good backlinks automatically to your blog if you post killer posts... i would choose blog...

 

It depends upon your need if you have only article work then blog is best and important thing is you can maintain it very well as compare to website.
