Getting Alexa bot to crawl my site?

I noticed on my log files that Alexa bot only comes once a month or once every twee months. Yet Inktomi Slurp, Googlebot and MSNbot come by everyday or at leased 3 to 4 times a month.

What can be done to get Alexa to crawls my sites?

p.s. I din't know where to put this topic

Getting more backlinks to your site from related content linking partners would be the best way to increase indexing.

Are the alexa rankings a good indicator of site traffic and ranking? Many niche markets do not properly reflect the true ranking and traffic for these sites and blogs. I found this blog for reviews of niche marketing on crack but do not see alexa rankings that reflect the true traffic or rank? http://www.anichemarketingoncrack.com

Alexa is useless. Don't waste your time with worrying about it.

Look in sitemap may be something there, though with Google and MSN it is OK.

Totally agree I've seen sites with alexas of 1,500,000 with 20,000 UV's a month and then a website with the same traffic who has a alexa of 17,000. Just a load of rubbish, period!

I may be wrong but I don't believe Alexa looks at backlinks. Isn't it purely based on other Alexa users having the bar installed and visiting the site?

Here's an idea... why don't we all start using www.websiteoutlook.com to value websites? I mean there both about as accurate as each other!
