Wow that is bad... Well i have to agree with you, mydownloader needs to go, that just isn't good for anyone besides the real cheap ones out there.... I mean i have so much content on my site alone anyone would love to buy a premium account, i don't see how helps anyone besides mydownloader who gains free cash for nothing basicly, anyway i hope my statistics shows up to be bugged cause if i really did sell nothing for these last days while uploading great content all the time now that the ftp is working it's clearly not worth any of my time anymore.

Regarding the time-out, it is 30 seconds for 1st download and 10 minutes for every other!

I have download as free user and i have used Opera browser and flashget and i have max 250 - 300 KB/s
On ssh (shell server - 100/100 Mbit/s) i have used jDownloader and I have there max 300 KB/s

That is good speed for free users.

Internet Download manager is open several conections when download, that let free members to download as premium, don't ban IDM, just make it works like hotfile or mu

Filesonic is the worst of any host on the internet!!!! They do not pay like they say they will, server is down more than it is up, download speed is like a snail even for premium users, no support, stops in the middle of a upload and download!
Tymek88, try again and you may find you got lucky. As a premium user I just tried to download a file and for the first 150mb/s it downloaded at 425/450 kbs then dropped to 3kb/s then to 1kb/s so it took 20 minutes to download the remaining short part. So why pay for a premium account if I could download for free at about the same speed I get as a premium user? I would never again upload or pay for a premium account.

 

That's not true!!! recently tried by myself. Downloaded 4 files every time time-out was 30 seconds, at the beginning of downloading the 5th file got 10 minutes timeout.
filesonic-support please pay attention on it and make time-out rule as you saying. Thanks

 

300 KB/s for premium users is ok (or maybe 200, but not less), but for premium users should be at least 2 - 3 MB/s.

I like FS host, it is my best host for now But still I wait until everything will work well.
And what with referel register? Works fine?

 

I have a question about remote upload, which has been better over the last few days. But sometimes it will give me an "Error-Caught exception" message. What does that mean?

I feel your pain. There are loyalists and cheerleaders here as they obviously already have lots of content on filesonic servers. But for the rest of us who have recently joined its beyond ridiculous. I've bought other premium accounts to upload to and transfer to filesonic later (sharingmatrix was great to use) in hopes that they would sort this shit out but now that hope is gone. I especially feel for those on pay for premium plan. Anyone can google filesonic and any derogatory word. The results would deter anyone from signing up. Major upload/download issues still persisting are being treated as individual, isolated problems as evidenced by moderators asking for info on links or username, says to me that these issues are simply beyond there capability. Instead of migrating my recent uploads back to filesonic I've decided to go the opposite way. As a newer member it's best I cut my loses. Glad I only paid for short term. Best of luck to those who decide to stick it out and hope for best.
