In my previous life, around the year 45 B.C. I was captured and sent to the lion pits. After six weeks of being beaten and abused they sent me to an arena with only the clothes on my back. Suddenly a bunch of gates opened and out came six hungry lions. I took off my jockstrap and fashioned a primative slingshot and managed to slay 3 of the lions before I was pounced upon. Luckily for me I forgot my deodarant and 2 of the lions fell dead. The last lion was a mean son of a bitch and took a bite out of my left leg. He then backed up, gave me a glare and pounced. Again, luckily for me I saw an awesome looking girl in the stands and got a world class erection just as the lion landed on me. My erection pierced the lions heart and all six lions lay dead by my hands. The arena was silent til the Ceasar stood up and proclaimed "that man is truly a Roman" and the entire crowd started chanting "Roman, Roman". I was then given the key to the city and married the awesome looking girl in the stands and she always called me "Roman" so the name stuck.
