Limited paypal? Paypal not supported? Withdrawal problems? (happens in non-US countries all the time). There can be a lot of reasons which is why companies are in that business.

I don't have the exact number but I'm pretty sure that one can have several paypal addresses under the same account and people use this feature all the time to keep track of payments received for a particular product/service. I'll give a smart suggestion here, when people add their PP under the settings, send a verification email to that ID and make them confirm it so you know that they actually own it. :)

PayPal allows you to use 2 different accounts. One is Business/Premier And One is Personal.

Right, but it would be the company giving the PayPal address, not the seller. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the buyer would have problems just sending an amount to the address without going through their site (the company would want to know what is being purchased).

You can have multiple emails, but the name on the account would match across all emails.

I thought you were taking about accounts. If it is additional mail IDs it is 8 allowed.

    Shawn,

I'd like your clarification on one thing though...

You're saying that if the email that's verified and the email you send to are different, you could get banned.

From what I understand, you can only enter 1 PayPal address (-->Perhaps change it on a per-thread basis?)

I sell eBooks, services and domains through my one main PayPal (and it's sub-addresses)

But due to IPN settings & other various reasons, I use a completely separate email for hosting-related sales.

    So, for example:

On my ebooks, services, domains and sites -- I use my main PayPal and any subaddress of that.
When I sell hosting -- I use a completely separate business account.

My question is, would I get banned for that?

If you are selling stuff, shouldn't you be using your business account?

Yes, I use my business account for hosting sales. Not for ebooks, etc.

Locally, on DP, I use my personal paypal.
Externally, in WHMCS/Sales related to hosting, I use my business (seperate) paypal.

Shawn? I sort of need to know this to avoid the ban hammer, don't I?

Well since you use your 2nd PayPal account outside of Digital Point, I'm not sure what the big deal is... you list the one you *do* use, and that's the one people use to pay you, right?

For anything sold directly through DP, yes, I use 1 account (unless it's a custom hosting package or something similar)

WHMCS/etc. is with my second (biz) account.
