How to drive traffic form yahoo answer??

Yahoo answers have become a major source of information for most of the people online who are searching for answers. This feature of Yahoo has unique answers from general users for all sorts of question one might be searching for, from the most casual one to the most complex.
The idea behind this feature is quite simple. People use search engines to find questions of their answers, but instead what they find is unorganized information. Searching within that information to find what you are looking for requires a lot of time, so Yahoo started this service which allows people to ask questions and then gets answers from the others, so that people could have information in specific question and answer form.
The idea for driving traffic from Yahoo answers is also very simple. You just have to search that section for your niche or topic your website deals in. I don't think yahoo answer get me much traffic at all.

 

I got shut down really quickly despite offering a lot of free information in my answers - I won't be bothering to set up anything on that site again I get more hits from forum posts in my niches

I can never get it to let me put a link in it. Is it just because I am new to it?

 

you need to have level 2 account to put a clickable link. and to have a level2 account you need lots of post.

 

Never used it but have seen a couple of my competitors use it. It might work best around big events, I.E. people asking questions about the world cup. That would be sure to get more searches than usual.

Yahoo Answers isn't too good for me, for traffic. I think if you were to AIM some random users, your link, you would get more traffic than using yahoo answers.

 

Y Answers is a very bad way to drive traffic unless you are one of the top people on there.

 

Getting banned on Yahoo answers is very frequent.. Answer in your niche and make sure that the source you provide is related to your answer.
