You make it sound like a one man effort, are you guys actually just 2 people running this thing?

FTP not working today, keeps putting people out, stats for aug 15 is simply false, others on this board have posted they have 0 sales there to and i do to, weird how no one sold premium accounts on this day alone, pretty sure it's a bug, fix it.

How about you go back to the old generate ftp account, cause this:

[R] 421 100 users (the maximum) are already logged in, sorry
    [R] Connection failed

Is getting old... That combined with the fact that you get disconnected after each transfer almost 100% cause of the ftp not wanting to open a new connection for the next transfer in queue makes it terrible, you can't leave the computer EVER if you want to expect to get some files up.

It's almost a month after release, and still.... i expect this weekend to be as bad as the previous ones, it's really to bad :(

Filesonic, why is this happening after each file transfer has completed on your ftp?

    Translation of logs:
    1. [R] 150 Accepted data connection <- Meaning the transfer has started and is undergoing.

    2. [R] Connection lost: ftp.filesonic.com <-- File is 100% sent but the FTP won't receive the "close singal" so it time-out eventually.
Transferred 1 file totaling 94,56 MB in 15 minutes 11 seconds (243,8 KB/s) <- Client says what has been transfered
1 File failed to transfer <- But says it has failed cause it never got the "close signal ok" from the server. (The file didn't fail though, your server failed to close the connection and open a new one for the next file in the queue).

    3. [R] Attempting to Reconnect. <-- Client has more files in queue, want's to send more...

    4. [R] Connecting to ftp.filesonic.com -> DNS=ftp.filesonic.com IP=78.140.176.166 PORT=21 (attempt # 1) <- Attempt 1 to reconnect..

    5. [R] Connection failed (Connection refused) <- Your ftp completely refuses connection, like it does not exist anymore.

This is happening OVER , and over, and over , and over... Each file gets time-out on the "close connection" stage, why can't you guys fix the server? I can recommend some experts for hire on PureFTPd for nix if u need it, please fix this urgently, file transfers has never been this hard, i can't que anything right now cause each file i have to make sure the client has reconnected properly and started the send process.

FTP doesn't work at all. Few days ago it worked, some problems appeared but now it DOESN'T WORK AT ALL. I'm not using any filezilla or CuteFTP, I'm using some service which has own script I suppose. I've never experienced problems with FTP using that, it worked perfectly at shmatrix. Cmon guys, lets make normal FTP. Just create some FTP generator, that will be OK, every time I'm getting that max number of users connected or connection drops AT THE END of session. Now my FTP client even doesn't want to start to upload.

Only purchased a 180 day premium service two weeks ago, and i have only been able to use one day of it so far.
Random errors and jdownloader telling me my account is invalid.

Now i cant even login to the website.

Unexpected error during login #1TypeError: d is null

    Regretting purchasing a premium service.

I had probs logging in yesterday like your as well (using FireFox 3.6.3). The "drop down" login returned the same error. However, when I skipped the login in and went to the statistics page (http://www.filesonic.com/affiliate/statistics) forcing the site to send me to the "page" login, I had no probs. Give it a try.

I had a good chat with the IT fellow last night. The tip to change the timeout setting worked well for a period. Unfortunately, looking at my logs, it only worked until 11pm-12am Eastern US time last night when I started getting the max user error as well. It looks like we may have to wait until some additional servers are installed in the US, but fear not, he promised these are on the way as we speak. A bit more patience and we'll be set. While I don't like losing half my income like I have this week, it's easy to give FS a few more days considering the progress that has been made in the past couple days.

400mb is a good limit. It is also a responsible limit if you are concerned for free uploaders. If you're going to up files larger than 400mb you should be archiving them and uploading in 400mb (401mb if you would like to generate sales ;-)) chunks anyway. There is nothing worse than dl'ing a 1gb file only to found it was corrupted during dl and is now worthless. If it is instead archived, you only have to re-download the corrupt part or even use the recovery record of the archive to repair the file provided the uploader was considerate enough to install this.

True enough, but I've seen the majority of progress in the past couple days. If you look back you'll see my posts were doubtful a few days ago. I'll admit I didn't see a light at the end of the tunnel. After the progress made since, and particularly yesterday, I can see that light now. I'm not saying I won't lose income this weekend, but I doubt I will lose next weekend.

    Yes. Costs you only $5.

Never tried as I like to verify files prior to passing along, so I do not know. Should work in theory.

I have no prob with the 30 days. In fact, I would not be opposed to a limit even for premium members. If I have a file that isn't popular enough to get a hit in 6 months there is no reason to consume valuable server space with its continued life.

I stack with a real bad ISP, and I don't have a choice. I can download files really fast, but my upload speed is slow. It takes my forever to upload movies. That's why I want to know is is possible to use remote upload from FSC to FSC. I will download files first to test them, anyway.
