A potential breakthrough on the FTP issue related to a download never completing:

1) Make sure your FTP client is on passive mode (this has already been discussed before)
2) Set your FTP client's timeout to unlimited ("0" in Filezilla) or something very high, like 999 seconds.

To set your timeout in FileZilla: Edit -> Settings -> Transfer -> Timeout. For other clients, please consult their documentation.

Please try out and let me know how it goes!

I hadn't been able to up via FTP in over 36hrs.. Mr. FileSonic-IT suggested I bump my timeout setting to 999. i just upp'd three consecutive files without issue, one of which was 250mb. If you're having probs, give it a try and thank Mr. F-IT.

Edit: JINX! Guess, I owe Mr. F-IT (the faster typer) a Coke, eh?

 

1. I can't move files to floder. even one file!! I select all and click the move selection, but no reaction!!!
2. I can't create new floder!

Is it my problem or host's ??? I need your help.

Q1.why do not i upload a file via ftp and browse
i sometimes can log-in to your ftp-server, but i get an error message

Do you have a high amount of files, organized into a high amount of folders and/or sub-folders? I do, and file manager was timing out on me prior to today. After today's improvements, however, the manager is working. It is slow though b/c of the amount of files I have. It can take up to a minute for the dialog box to appear after I click the "move" button. Have you tried giving the feature some additional time to work? You can also use your FTP client to move files into folders.

 

Have you tried adjusting your timeout value as suggested above?

 

Could anyone be kind enough to answer this question?

My file is 101MB,it was downloaded 3 times in contury group D,fox example China.
In the status: Country (Paid Downloads): China (3)
How many points I will get?
3 or 9?

Sadly I'll have to switch to other file-hosts when it comes to 400 MB + files. This limit option is certainly perfect for people who own web-sites or blogs, but not for people who are posting in sites of others. Site owners don't respond well to this, and usually get the host on the ban list or at least you get "files over 400 MB not allowed". And I totally understand that.

I do wanna make money, of course, but the responsibility I have towards free users (all of them) and internet communities comes way first. I don't like offering files to people that they can't download, even if it means less money.

Otherwise, I'll be sticking to FileSonic services. Think of you as the best file-host ever!
