I've been sitting back watching this and waiting for all to be ok, but what a load of shxx. Who are you to cut off comments? You are a visitor to this forum like us, no?

You dismiss peoples complaints by saying most issues about bugs are our fault, but what about the FTP and web upload that seem to work for few peoples? And not everyone with complaint has hotfile. I have heard same about rapidshare and depositfile. Beside why should people have to upload to another host and then remote to you cuz ftp and web no work?

Agreed with you a month ago but not after last weeks. Was joking with a friend that new owners are really rapidshare and you are only "pretending" to fix so you can destroy what was sharingmatrix. I laugh when you point to sharingmatrix growth in march. That growth was cuz of good rep that is now gone. With all probs now you are fighting just to hold on to current peoples so how can you grow?

Like FTP? Peoples been very clear. Not fixed after two weeks. Like web upload? Not fixed after two weeks. You fix mostly cosmetics, not big issues like uploading and stats.

Greatly rewarded, ha! Lost my shirt so far. Still would have continued to suffer in silence had you not been so arrogant in that last post.

filesonic takes too much time to solve the bugs & others issue. Your remote upload is totally sucks, some time it takes 12-24 hours to upload a file by remote upload. Filesonic service is on of worst file hosting i have ever seen. May be soon it will be one of the scam site.

Yes, free users will only be able to download files under 400MB. There needs to be a clear distinction between free and premium to give users to incentive to switch to premium, and this is one of the incentives.

If you have large files, I suggest you post them on the Pay-Per-Sale plan, as they will likely convert well into premium accounts.

    Thanks,

Yeah, just don't try to upload a 400m file. ha ha ha

It easy to show progress when you all but destroy host. Makes it look like you have come far in TWO WEEKS when you are still mucking about. Anyone imagine rapidshare or megaupload or depositfiles being offline for TWO WEEKS?

I will clarify this once more and will then move on to answering technical issues, which is the reason why I'm on this forum.

The point I was making is very simple: insults, accusations and random bashing do not help anyone. Complaining that our site "sucks" does not help us move forward. However, sending me a bug report with your user id and a clear description of the issue does help a lot. Many affiliates have done this, and I am very much grateful to them for their help. I am looking forward to continued feedback so we can build a great file sharing site. This, I am confident that we will do.

We are not blaming affiliates. Doing so would be unfair and unprofessional. We understand our responsibilities clearly and we will continue to honour them to the best of our abilities. If we were just another irresponsible business, we wouldn't have issued compensation for downtime last week, despite the fact that we lost a lot of money and the compensation came straight out of our pockets.

To our loyal affiliates, thank you again for your patience, feedback and continued support

    Thanks,
    FileSonic-IT

That´s nice but i dont understand why you didn´t do a Beta Testing phase with 100 users per example after launch the website and turn off Sharingmatrix. You had lost a lot of old clients & pottential new clients because of that ;)

Now to a technical update (my REAL job here :))

    - The actual site is about 5-10x faster than it was this morning. We've done some excellent optimizations, which should help you and your users greatly. We considered this to be a priority, since everything else will become irrelevant if the site remained slow!
    - The issue that some users have reported about missing file sizes after remote upload has been diagnosed. We were able to put in a fix for Remote Upload from direct sites (not other file sharing sites). I'm hoping to find the reason for File Sharing sites tomorrow. If you're doing direct remote upload (not share2share) please make sure to provide me with feedback by PM.
    - We see a HUGE volume of FTP uploads today. Most users are having not issues at all. Some are having trouble logging in, but that's because the servers are overloaded. We should roll out more servers very soon.
    - Stats are delayed, but they are processing. We have a lot of data to crunch, so it might take another few hours, but they are coming in gradually.

If you have any issues to report, please PM me. Don't forget to include your user id and a clear description.

    Thanks,
    FileSonic-IT

Unfortunately, the site did well on low traffic :(. It was only with high traffic that most issues came up.

YOU NEED BUG REPOT ??? LOL ...

THE WHOLE SITE IS A BIG BUG. LOGING ERROR, REMOTIE UPLOAD ERROR, FTP ERROR, etc. I suggest you make your own affiliate id. then try to upload some file from different server by remote upload or ftp, then you will know what the "filesonic" is.

I understand folks frustration.....I am there myself. Still, FileSonic-IT has a point, the "scamming" contents are over the line. Sure, we've all lost income. the affiliates as much so a FS. The compensation was appreciated but with the inability to upload and inaccurate counts, we 're still losing. Just keep in mind that they are going to get this straightened out and have promised promotions in the future (check out the post that kicked off this thread). So accusing FS of intentional "scamming" is not true. They regret the lost income as much as we do.

Forgot to mention, users should now be receiving email notifications when their files are deleted. If you don't for whatever reason, shoot me a PM!

Thanks! Stats will continue rolling in as they get processed.

Today, I reengineered the stats system so it is more real-time, but it will take a bit of time to implement.
