It's possible, maybe your contents just not Digg worthy.

Question: How can I make my wife to have sex on the kitchen table?
Answer: Put a sexi chip and dale guy on the kitchen table...

Question: How can you get Digg votes?
Answer: Write some great and unique articles. In most cases people need more entertaining than information.

    Cheers,

Affiliate Marketers aren't going to get DIGG votes. Not the way most of them do it anyway. It shouldn't matter though, DIGG isn't a great traffic source anyway. It's just good to help you rank your keywords in the SERPS.

Look at what DOES get high rank on Digg. As far as I can tell it's mostly news stories and funny videos. If you can make soemthing like that then props. If those don't work with your business, then digg might not be your best bet. It helps if you can make some friends on there though.

I used to believe people would Digg good stuff on their own if I posted it. you know given the internet traffic it receives n all....

well this is how I saw a friend get Diggs. Ofcourse we know you gotta have a Digg button on your page (the one with counter is good). I know ure thinking its zero... but wait. here's what he did, he will send it to all his friends including me and family and beg them to please please digg it if they got 5 seconds. Now he gets At Least 50% conversion on that haha.

Once other people see a newsflash (recently dugg etc etc) and that there is actually a couple of thumbs up to it they will take interest and then it starts rolling. Think social to viral...

Its just marketing, if you keep believing that your stuff is good enough to market itself you will learn it my way (the hard way) and miss out on loads of fun. Friends and Family are your best affiliates ;) and it wont hurt to ask them (imagine everyone's facebook with mutually exclusive people).

hope it help.. in some odd way.

It isn't. Unless you get loads of diggs it stays nofollow.

I've found reddit is better than digg all round - on the main channels links are followed, and people actually read and upvote stories, and I get some traffic. This is dependent on having some interesting content, of course.

I beg to differ. I use digg to get googlebot to visit a new site I launch within 2 hours. Even if it goes to Recycle Bin of cosmic obscurity. For some reason googlebot does it with Digg urls and probably other such sites too.

Yes It's depend on your Content , and power profile also help to push you on FP of digg, so there are lot of chances to hit the front page with reputed profile in digg, I am having Power profile there, so i can say i easily get 200 diggs in 24 hours and most of chances my story hit the front page and burn my hosting server too..lol
