How to get my proxies pagerank up?

Hi

I have had my proxy website now for over 2 months and i am still PR0.

I haven't really done much promotion besides doing submissions to top sites.

I still would have expected to have achieved at least page rank 3 by now since
i even have an Alexa rank of 489k but 0 PR ,

Can someone explain to me why i still have 0 PR and how to increase it?

P.S: Is 489k good for a proxy website? ((Alexa rank))

I am also ranked on 1st page of google for "fastest proxy website" and second page for "free proxy service" - check my sig for the url

I think you need more backlinks.

 

Thanks for your words of wisdom geekos (rolling eyes). It surprising that one with so many posts would leave a lame reply like that. Perhaps that's why he has 2,600 posts?

Anyway..why are you so concerned with your pagerank? You say you're there in the serps. It's been a few months since last toolbar update, so you'll know in the next couple of weeks if it bumps up or not.

 

Sir with my expert opinion I have come to conclusion that pagerank equal backlink. U can do this by email blog owner or bribe them with a few dollar. Also u may find that blog comments work well. Once u reahc pr3 be sure to tell dp as that is fantastic feat. Quick story: when my oriental rug site hit pr2 I was so happy. I threw party and even told my wife that it was more exciting than birth of my son. Good luck bro

 

whats wrong with my answer (rolling eyes) ? i checked his site and he has few backlinks .
most of my site that has backlinks on high pr websites got PR increased this month.

 

Why would i ever tell my wife that gaining page rank was more exciting then the birth of my son?!?!

 

Is there any FREE methods i can do myself for getting back links and page rank? and do you guys think that when the PR updates that i will go to PR1?

I just would like to see improvements, a PR1 + website it will give me more motivation.

In fact, google does not update pagerank for more than 3 month, so you cannot see any pagerank change until google update it.

 

Geekos, you should of elaborated in your post, like you did in your response. That 5 word reply was lame. This used to be a great forum, but it's getting filled up with people who don't contribute. Where did all the good ones go?
