but one suggestion though, if you can also add a number to each subcategory of how many links it contains, like this:

Arts (13)
Artists (0)
Books & Bestsellers (3)
Chats & Forums(2)
Cultures & Groups (4)
Design (2)

 

Your web directory is really good but I think you can do something with the design of your home page. It is not good to feature so many links in the home page instead, you should add some content related to your website.

 

These are the categories, i havnt used many outgoing links!!!!
