Well, I feel that this decision is going to have to be based on you, and the direction you want to take your website. The pro's of this is you can expand your market to individuals who are intrested in finding adult information. The Con's are, you might be limited to the type of offline and online marketing you do because you have adult material on it... Tough decision though

It all really just depends on the website, but its pretty easy to see that porn is the number one money maker on the Internet.

Going adult increases your available market, but it also scares some mainstream users away.

Becareful to follow local laws if you do have adult sections.

To help make things cleared you should tell us what sort of site you have and what sort of adult content you want to add.

my site is at feeyd.com and currently users, submit and make profiles for each other and other companies, what i am thinking is to let it open for adult content to include images, videos for the adult industry. I am thinking to include adult because i think it will increase the popularity of my site.

I am not sure if i have to choose one or the other adult or non adult, can i not have both?

You can see the site in question by clicking my signature link.

Your site look professional and clean. I don't think you should do it.. There must be a way for you to increase popularity by doing something else like maybe doing company or a person of the month and so on.

Thanks for your advice, i have been thinking about adding a person/company of the week/month but not sure if it will make as much impact as offering adult. Most of my friends have suggested i stay away from th adult sector.

Is the adult sector as lucrative as is made to be?

No no. Your site looks professional. If you want to add adult contet, I recommend buying a new domain. If your current site is for personals AND professional you shouldn't include adult material.

    I lol'd.

I wouldn't do it with that site, tbh. I've seen it happen before where a network type site allows adult material then lives to regret it because of all the problems it causes. Your choice, however. As someone has already suggested, why not create a new site on a new domain? That way if it doesn't work out it's easy to pull the plug.

The majority of the advice recieved from you guys is to stay away from th eadult content, i think I might just do that and keep my site as it is to save me regret in the future.

Your suggestions of using and setting up on a new domain may be a way to test the waters for adult content.

Thanks all I will not put adult content on my site and will follow your advice.

This is just my view but don't whore your site out for money. There are tons of great ways to make money on a good site without exploting women. Porn rapes the mind. No amount of money is worth lowering the integrity of your site.:) Plus you real limit who will go to your site if it family friendly at all.

Hmmm...should you add porn on your site or not? What to do, what to do...

    Hey, I know...answer this..

Is it a porn site? If yes, add porn.

If it's about Herbal Remedies, don't.

Stay focused on what your site is about...that's my point.
