    My original blogspot URL: http://softwarengameslinkshere.blogspot.com
    New custom domain name: http://pcfreedownloadgames.net

Three days ago I setup custom domain name for my blogger blog based on the guide given by Google itself. I bought the domain name through the blogger widget so I didn't need to do anything with cname etc in Google Apps.

After setting up the custom domain name, I visited it and it's working fine. But when I visit my old blogspot URL it does not redirects to the new domain name.

That is, http://softwarengameslinkshere.blogspot.com does not gets forwarded to http://pcfreedownloadgames.net when visited.

Now it has been more than 72 hours and the blog is not in transition state either, so it should redirect to the new domain name which is is not.

I raised the issue in blogger help group also but still struggling to resolve the issue.

I hope guys here at digitalpoint forums should be able to help with this.

    Hi there,
If your redirect code is correct, I don't see any problem with redirecting. Perhaps it's the browser's problem. Have you tried other browsers?

Your old url is getting redirected to the new domain properly. Don't worry:)

you can set it from the options provided. there is mentioned that, if you want to do a redirect from your old blog to the URL you've just created, you can tick the option.
