Alvin.....What is it specifically you would like to learn how to do? Is it how to make the videos? What to focus on in your video, etc?
It's really a piece of cake actually. Either use a screen capture video recorder such as Camtasia or Camstudio (Free and works great. But after you make some money, invest in Camtasia).
Or use a video camera to record yourself for a video or use your webcam video. If you need to edit the video Windows Movie Maker works great
Upload your video to YouTube, write a description including the URL to your website and post relevant tags. Make sure you search for other YT videos using related keywords. Find the videos with the most views and use the same "tags" they did.

Not sure how to specifically address your question, until I know more of exactly what part of using YouTube for IM you want to know more about.

First you have to learn how to use Window Movie Maker and/or Camtasia and PowerPoint/Paint/Photoshop. After that it's easy! :)

youtube is a high traffic site, many videos inside are with their own web site and contact visits if the video is very large, relatively speaking site traffic will grow, but creative is not so easy to shoot video to

Just take a few fun videos and then try your hand at editing them on Windows Movie Maker. Once you feel you are good enough to make a full-fledged video then go for it.

    Dear Alvin,

A few things come to mind...

1.Keep your videos short & sweet. Viewers attention span is getting shorter and shorter these days.

2.Learn from the best. I keep saying that but I believe it's the best way to learn. Look for the most popular videos in your area (By searching "Internet Marketing" for example) and emulate their techniques. See what tags and keywords they've used.

3.Always include a Call to Action at the top/end or throught your video. You can include the URL of your squeeze page as a watermark over your video or edit it into the end of your video.

4.Trigger their curiosity. Whatever it is you're promoting, give the information they need and make it enticing, but make them want to come ovder to your site to get the real deal. Just like your resource box in an article directory, you can say something like that, at the end of your video:
    #1 recommended resource for FREE
    SECRETS gives you the latest
tips to get a six pack. Get a sample here:
    http://www.yoursqueezepage.com

5.Always include your URL in the description box.
On YouTube it's the area underneath the video. The reason being is that you not only get users to click through your URL but you also get a high PR backlink to your site which is invaluable for your page ranking.

6.Making a video can be as simple as creating a Powerpoint (Or Keynote if you're on a Mac) presentation and then recording yourself with Camtasia/Camstudio/Jing talking through it. That's what most gurus do.. Alternatively you can write an article and find a 'gig' on Fiverr.com of someone who'd convert it to a video for you, for $5.

7.Once the video is on-air, don't just leave it 'in the cold'. It won't just start generating a gazillion of views out of thin air. Spend some effort on pushing it up. Go to Fiverr or Odesk and get real people to view your video and comment on it. Social bookmark it or outsource that task as well. Harness the power of social media and tweet about it or pay for others to tweet it (Fiverr is high on social media). Embed the video on your blog and social bookmark it. And of course, wherever you post your video, ping it on Pingler or Pingoat. And ping your social bookmarks as well.

    Hope that helps;)

Do what 1kaday said, but also: Put your full link in the very beginning of your description. Use good SEO'd keyword tags to help it rank better.

Here's a link to a site that has a TON of info on Video Marketing.
At this time of day, (11:32PM) I am too lazy to post my stuff on it.

    RapidVideoBlogging

Download that report, and it'll teach you EVERYTHING in 92 pages.
    Print it out too, lol.
Especially if you're SERIOUS about Video Marketing.

Youtube video is a great marketing strategy for internet business. I've seen so many popular blogs out there include video and such into their personal site. I think after you can learn how to use movie maker and photoshop like they said the rest won't be too difficult.

You can have CTA's in the video. The hardest part is getting the video to go viral.

A good way to promote different niches at youtube is by generating simple slideshow-videos from you images/screenshots with your url-watermark. The more videos you upload, the more visitors you'll get. It's a numbers game.

Use PowerPoint to make a product presentation first, and then convert the PowerPoint to video for uploading the video presentation to YouTube.
Tool you can use: Wondershare PPT2Video.

It helps you promote your product easily.
