I think One such tool is Yahoo Site Explorer.. Which gives you the entire back links of your site.

 

Yes, because this tool does exactly the same as you can manually do.
It will visit some pages in the background that will eventually lead into a backlink.

For example when you visit http://whoisx.co.uk/yoursite.com manually, it will create the backlink too.
The only difference is that the application does all the work for you. Just enter your URL, click the 'Get some backlinks!' button and
it will visit all the website listed in the links.dat file. You can manually edit the links in the links.dat file if there are some
websites that you don't want a backlink from.

Unluckily the tool is not working at my end..

This type of tool not very great i think, it will be duplicated content, description, ect and Google don't like that.
Better is to build backlinks manually.
And some websites have a captcha code to check if you are human or not.

 

i use seoquake &e backlinkwatch.com Firefox in finding backlinking sources.these are easy to use.

 

Is it save? I mean is it possible one's site will be given a penalty for using this tool?

 

Since this tool only uses web services that are openly available, it cannot harm your rankings at all.
If it would, that should mean that you can never check a WHOIS at e.g. http://whoisx.co.uk/yoursite.com or you'll get a penalty which is absolute nonsense ofcourse ...

 

That is finding backlink but its very slow so I think its not useful

 

Right now I using this software that is too much slow can't be helpful us, It should be improve their performance

 

The performance of this tool depends on the performance of your machine and your Internet connection.
Since this tool must visit 100 websites (more or less depending on your personal configuration), it might take a while.
Don't expect to visit 100 websites in 5 seconds ...

 

But all others software is working very well in my machine also internet connection work with good speed with other tools
but I will check that software in my other computer and hope I will get good result

 

Backlink Generator .. Which type of back links it will generate ? are all those back links from High pr and do follow ?

 

If the problem still occurs I will try and search what might be causing this problem.
This summer I'll release a new version with more features and I hope better performance then.

Most of them are dofollow yes, but they won't work for you to get a better PR.
They are better to get quickly indexed.

Is this tool really works, or just another piece of junk, it give the website new backlinks or just displays existing backlinks ?
