.Org or .Net

I am looking to start a make money online related site aimed at beginners. The .com is taken (parked), but .Net and .Org are available. What would you recommend I buy, the .Net or the .Org?

I'd take to .net since it's generally better than .org.

.org domains are fine for non-profit organisations and .net is better for commercial use.

 

After .com... it is always .net for me, as the second best option!

Net is for spider webs.
Org is for organ donations.

 

i would pay more a few bucks to register both.

 

.net and .org are equal.

Both are good, although not as nice as a .com.

But an exact match .net or .org will rock in the serps.

 

The .net beats the .org any day, to be honest with you.

 

Have to respectfully disagree. For SEO, at least, there is no difference.

 

Are u looking to buy any specific keyword domain name? You can also add stop words like a, the etc to the keyword and get it with .com. I personally prefer .org over .net.

 

you are right! there is no any difference on SEO, but .org gtld is derived from Organization.
if you are individual, .net is better.

 

For me, the best option is .net

 

Net and org are equal, but if you are serious you must buy both domain name and make a 301 redirection.

No keywords, just a good sounding, simple and easily rememberable domain name.

I would if I had lots of spare money, but so many demands on my money at the moment. Can't spare an extra dollar, let alone 10.

I suppose that NET domain name is better as that is more related to the network.

Since its a make money blog, I think .net is more suitable for the purpose.

 

Sorry, i really don't get how you guys see NETWORK = COMMERCE.

 

Saying you want to make money your choice will be .net. if you are offering no profit service .org makes more sense.
