i need to know that i recently made a squido lense about my website .. how much time its gonna take in indexing itself in google as well as i want to know that how to backlink this squido with my site ... how many blogs i am permitted to post in it daily ... please help me by telling some promotional tips of squido lense so i can generate traffic to my site...

i don't think there is a limit to how much you can post in the lens, but I think if you put too many links back to your website you can get the page susspended.

Try bookmarking the lens to some decent bookmarking sites to get it indexed quickly.

You can post as many you can in a day as I learn squido. Google take time to index but you can social bookmark your leans url to get faster index by search engine

Try posting in forums to get instantly indexed.

 

I always link out to other related authority sites that are not owned by me (or my clients) then it looks more natural - Google will only look at one of the links to your site so you don't need to keep putting the same links in there. Just don't use the same anchor - use an anchor that you are not targeting for the other sites.

You can link to a few of your sub pages too.

Another thing with Squidoo is that you need to add a few modules before the links become dofollow.

It's good practice to add the content, wait a week or so and then go back and add your links to the content.

You have to keep updating squidoo lenses, also.

 

For non-Giants of Squidoo there is a limit on how many outgoing links you can have on a lens. It's pretty pointless to have a bunch of links, especially if they are to irrelevant sites; ie not similar content to the page.

Create a good lens or don't create on at all. That's the same for anything you do. Don't forget that you can make a lot of money and steady income from Squidoo and Hub Pages. It should be just about getting a backlink.

 

You can use digg, delicious kind of social bookmarks to get your lense indexed well. You can put any number of backlinks towards your website but they can ban you so don't fluid your lense with so many backlinks. upto 5 it's fine I think. Also you can make any number of post over there but make sure you don't spam otherwise they will ban you.

 

If you optimized your lens for a particular keyword it shouldnt take much time at all if you didnt pick a keyword with too much competition maybe a week or so.

 

I haven't seen a Sqidoo Lense come up on any of my keyword researches performed in the past 4 or 5 months. I'm think Squidoo is dead. Can anyone confirm good luck or proof of a strong backlink?

Squidoo is not just about indexing. You can also get some decent traffic. Last month I got more than 1,000 page loads on my website from one Squidoo lens (223 visitors X almost 5 pageloads per visitor).

 

you can perform bookmarking for your squidoo. this will help in easy indexing of your lense. There is a limit of backlinks per squidoo lense. keep your back links to 4-5 per squidoo

Share it on face book and other fan pages.

Best way to promote your squidoo lens is to link it with other squidoo lenses. Read other authors squidoo lenses (specially from the highly rated authors) , post your comment on their lenses, ask them to review your lens as well, make friends join other authors fan club.
