For those who like to read articles then readbud is a place to get something. But if we are there just for money then we should think many many times whether we need to continue or not. It is up to us to consider. Most of my friends that joined readbud is still waiting for their money to be paid after reaching $50.

It up to each user, for me, readbud already gone from my earning list, since it already time consuming for each read & rate for earning little, It better for me doing something more radical, such as web design, and Internet Marketing.

Anybody noticed that Readbud again needed to upgrade their servers. This is a second upgrade in less than four weeks after the last major upgrade in early June this month. While their servers continue to be upgraded, the articles being received are getting lesser by the day.

Wonder why servers need to be upgraded for serving a couple of articles daily ?

Not a single user here gets more than a handful articles daily which amounts to making no more than .25 to .30cents daily.

You can create a new Readbud account for yourself and see the number of articles you will get in a new account. (Just use another browser or your friends PC)
Your old account will get no more than 3-4 articles while the new account will get as many as 12-15 articles. Ask yourself why does readbud need to do that ?

Why is it that as you earnings grow, the articles begin their vanishing trick ? Think about it.

Scammers are known to change tactics while making a few initial payments to help keep them going, most such scamster's usually windup within 6months if not a year. Readbud is now online since Feb 2010, lets see how long they last.

I will be glad if I am proved wrong, but time will tell. As for me, I have wasted enough time with readbud with a virtual $42 in my readbud account, it is painful to see these tactics when one has been genuinely reading their articles and not just randomly clicking away.

For anybody who has really got paid, good for them, but what about the scores of people who will get scammed in the process.

    What the hell?!?!?
NO ONE has ANY proof this site is a scam - just because you're looking for a 'quick fix' in the CTP sites doesn't mean that a site taking more than 3 months to pay is a SCAM!

Have you been paid yet? No. Have you got enough to even cash out yet??? NO. So why call it a scam? Just because you're too lazy to spend 2 or 3 months going through it every day to get $50 (which is fair payment for 3 months' of clicking work BY THE WAY) it doesn't mean it's a scam. Wake up and get real!!

I've only been a member for almost 2 weeks now, and am only on $11, and I actually will sit there and check it 2 or 3 times a day, and I am quite happy with the $1 a day I've gotten for sitting on my butt and clicking my mouse twice per article. What do you expect, to get paid for nothing? Not gonna happen!!

There's proof that people have been paid - better than the crappy 'real-life story' stuff some of you are calling 'proof it's a scam' - and I'm not listening to idiots who've never reached payout AT ALL because you DO NOT get $50 in a month for doing something like this. It's NOT quick and easy money, it CAN take a while. They don't drop the payments and number of articles to scam people out of wasting their time - they're not forcing you to carry on!! Plus by putting it at $50 they don't lose out on money because the lazy people can't be bothered carrying on after a month and give up - that's how they can filter out the people who will actually work for it, by putting it up to $50 and watching people hit $10 and give up in no time.

You people who are just taking this idea of it being a scam and agreeing are very stupid. Every single website has a scam attached to it because somebody who is too lazy to actually put the work in doesn't get paid or doesn't do enough to get even a penny. Or doesn't even read the T&Cs!!! This site is NOT for those wanting money in their account the next day, it does take time!!

And no offence but to the people with $30-something in their account, would it be better dropping it to $25? No, it'd take exactly the same amount of time to hit $50 whether $50 was the cashout or not, you just want your money fast which is why they have it at $50 to get rid of people like you. And what would make it better dropping it to $25? You'd just complain the payout isn't enough!! Not like you're breaking a sweat, sitting there, clicking...

You lot make me laugh, go find a real job and stop joining payout sites just to hit half what you need and call them scams. If you think this one's a scam after the number of people actually paid then you're just idiotic. And you knew what the payout was at, and after 2 or 3 articles I'm sure you noticed you don't get paid much. God it's not like the payment's gonna go up just because you've opened a window and closed it again 30 seconds later a dozen times a day.

And if the site goes down it goes down because it's run out of money to keep showing articles, and it's run out of money because people lie to others and no one will join because they think it's a scam! It's really quite pathetic how far people will go just because they personally cannot be bothered with something.

In my opinion, if anyone's going to show an ounce of common sense here, TRY IT. If it's not for you it's not for you, but it DOES NOT MEAN IT'S A SCAM and it's unfair to those who would actually take the time to reach the payout because really, YOU'RE scamming THEM out of money just because YOU can't be bothered trying for it!

jmaria is right though. I don't see why everybody is complaining. I got paid by them. It takes a while but they do pay. I think most people cheat, thats why they dont get articles.

Why would I waste my time clicking on random articles to get a bit of money if I was employed by them, you know with an hourly paying job?

Not only do you lack common sense and logic, you lack the ability to even spell - D is nowhere near L, or do you have some high-tech keyboard no one else knows about?

I'm sorry if there's more proof on this thread FOR the site than against, but obviously not everyone thinks their posts through eh.

The fact it takes so long to get payments is crazy, thing is... Readbud is a great business model, if the articles where spammed with atleast 3 banner/PPC ads e.g Adbrite/Adsense or something and then contained at least 3-6 paid links/affiliate links and... were paid articles themselves promoted by a company, you could make a blitz... If you paid the user like.. $0.03 to read the article, your making a pretty penny everytime someone checks it out and then you also submit every article to all social media sites and stuff... get it in the search rankings, your buzzing :D

Someone should just make a clone :D i saw a readbud clone script at some point didnt buy it as i thought it looked like shoddy code but my development team could make an awesome one... :D

WOW, Somebody seems to have got real worked up here.

As for me, I still continue to log in to my readbud account and have so far made a brilliant $4 in reading articles since my last month's posting here.
Just imagine you get paid $0.13cents daily for reading articles. ( Ask yourself if thats fair payment for your time )

As of now my current virtual balance in readbud after four months of membership is $45.92 and the number of articles being now served daily is a fantastic 2 articles (yes TWO articles daily)

So here's my stats for the last two months.
My June virtual income = $5
My July virtual income = $4 (yes I know there are a good five days to go in this month, so please feel free add another astronomical 0.50 to that amount)

Readbud on its website, still continues to say that 100's of articles are added daily, leaves me wondering as to where they all vanish. ( I hope you guys recollect the several number of times the servers were upgraded in the last two months. Maybe its that creepy server to blame for my poor stats.)

As for me, I am interested to see how much can further they can drag a payout. At the current rate, the next four dollars to reach my $50 payout should take 30days. Its anybody guess that soon enough readbud will serve only one article daily and then zero out so as to stretch the payout to infinity.

Lets see how it goes. Will keep you guys posted.

BTW, do a Google search and see how many payment proofs can you find for the month of July 2010. Readbud is supposed to be in existence for five months now.
That should help somebody wake up & get real !!!. ( unless you are happy with virtual dollars in your readbud account )

So for all newbies who get excited by the initial 13-15 articles daily, watch out, learn from others experiences. Its your call to go ahead or leave it.
There are enough red flags there for readbud, its upto you to judge whether readbud is a scam or not.

The unwritten law of readbud says,
"The number of articles served to you will be inversely proportional to your earnings, such that your earnings will never reach payout."

And so Readbud will make sure that all its members will continue to enjoy a love & hate relationship with them.
We will continue to hate such scammers & they love to have suckers who live in denial of such scammers.

So the next in their bag of tricks is "Serve articles with lesser & lesser value"

For the past 10-12days, I was getting daily 0.11 to 0.13c for viewing two articles, now the sum of the two daily articles is down to .07 to .09c. How neat is that ?
Just perfect enough to stretch my next four dollars to payout by another +50days. Nice moving target there.

BTW, my direct referral who was very hopeful of achieving payout is already pulling his hair out.
Next I guess its my turn to join him. The fun never ends with Readbud.

    Cheers.

I was also a readbud user but now I don't want to waste my time working for that. That must be a scam. There are many more legit ways to earn big bucks.

In my above post on 1st June, I had estimated reaching payout in about three months. Its about two and a half months now (then my ac balance was $36.5.) and my account balance has now reached $48.23. Pretty close to my estimate & close to payout.

But the biq question is.. Will Readbud really pay ? I too am keeping fingers crossed, will keep you guys posted.

At the same time one needs to also decide if making an average of $4.6 per month is really making any money at all.

There are better ways to make money online than this for sure.
