The site currently has a page rank of 4 (valid) and an Alexa traffic rank of 540,093. The site also has several inner pages with page rank of up to 4. The site has strong, solid and relevant backlinks from some top/strong sites with high PR to either the home page or as a source/via link for a blog post.

I've recently changed hosts on the site as I had some serious problems in July with the hosting hence lower stats for July.

The Adsense earnings since the beginning of this year are as follows:

January: £8.44 ($13.15)
February: £5.28 ($8.22)
March: £5.96 ($9.28)
April: £9.86 ($15.36)
May: £5.58 ($8.69)
June: £10.38 ($16.17)
July: £8.50 ($13.24)
August: £8.35 so far ($13)

I can provide proof if need be. My Adsense account is in British Pounds, so I have added the amount in US dollars, according to XE.com

I've also been making $10 a month from one ad spot on the site for the past 10 months and in the past six month have also had other link spots on the site, ranging from $7.50-$10 per spot per month.

The domain is registered with Name.com, so will be a free push to your name account. The domain was registered 8th September 2008 and expires 8th September 2011, so more than a year left. It is a .com domain. The site has 331 published posts. The majority of them were written by myself or my partner and are unique.

There is also a forum powered by MyBB with 120 posts and 113 members. The forum side wasn't promoted so isn't active but, is there.

I will be accepting Paypal or UK bank transfer for payment.

I can provide free hosting for a month after sale, as well as any after sales support. The Twitter account will also be included, which currently has 127 followers.

I was thinking the same thing while I was out today, that I should use tinyurl or similar and have just come back to do just that.
Although I wouldn't say the "devalues the site" stuff is stupid. I've certainly reconsidered bids on sites when I've seen the listing on Google. Maybe the winning bidder won't care but, while the site is still in my name and while I'm still working/posting on it, I won't do anything that could devalue it.

Yes, the site really makes that much, well with Adsense anyway. As I said, I also have other revenue coming in.
With regards to who offered me $500 for the site, some one who purchased another website from me a while back, who happened to pay a lot more than $500 for it and it wasnt making any where near as much as this site. I can only assume, they see the potential in it and not just the Adsense earnings but, thanks for your input.

You can also add another £1.30/$2.03 to this months earnings from todays clicks.

 

I'll offer you $250 to start in case your $500 offer falls through, and I am willing to go higher if there are other bids in this thread. If I were you, I'd take the offer you have, since it's a good offer.
