LOGO for NEW SEO Website........... 48 HRS of Creative Challenge!

I'm after a header logo for an SEO/Webdesign business website with Extra work available to the contest winner (inlcudes favicon, business branding of business cards, letterheads etc & other image work).

This will be a 48 hour contest and all entries should be posted on this thread (feel free to PM me for confirmation, but to increase the contest quality, all submission MUST be loaded on thread).

The site is www.metroranking.com (it is currently active and seriously empty AND ugly!!!! NO inspiration there )

* Preferably on a transparent/white background
* Preferably includes an "arrow/graph/stairs/ anything going up and implying winning" within the logo (that's where the real creative artists will stand out!)
* Use of a "city" skyline, building, anything implying a city
* PSD required from the winner
* Standard logo size
* No real preference in terms of color, but "red, black and grey/silver" theme encouraged

First question is an obvious one, you say how the payment will be maid, but you don't mention how much you're offering?

25$ is the ca$h prize for this job... I have a bad habit of adding money to the purse when I get exited over the designs, but $25 is the start!

really like this one, but the arrow looks "weak" almost invisible if it was on a business card, or on a banner size.

love this one (already worked together so I am biased!!)
The skyline is too busy though and tip of arrow kinda disappears.
But so far it's an outstanding first shot!
Loving it!

Nice effort, unfortunately, the blue and yellow are busy and disappear on the background.
Even in this large image they are barely visible

 

Really nice artistic effort.
Something is missing, but I'm not sure what...
Maybe the R is too big which makes it look awkward

 

rally like the skyline design, but not a big fan of the fonts, try maybe two diferent fonts for Metro and for Ranking

It seems that so far this is our favorite attempt for "metroranking.com"
simple and to the point.
Maybe you could tweak the buildings a bit and make it a tad larger..
So far very very very good!
