Search results discrepancies

I just noticed this...lately I had a drop off in traffic. I used to rank 1st page for A LOT of terms, and now I've noticed that the only results that I rank 1st page for now are ones that are only on my Index/Homepage of my blog.

And I noticed that even when i directly search the term, and rank for the first result, instead of showing my permalink of .com/whatever-test/ it just shows my main domain.

Any idea what would cause this?

How old is your website? Your problem is sound like an unstable in ranking due to low domain trust. It is a common for gain a high ranking for certain keyword in the beginning before drop later for most new websites. A so called "honeymoon period" will not last long and you need both age and quality backlink to archive the good ranking back again.

Without a URL for your site and the keywords for which you used to rank, it's impossible for anyone here to help you. They will simply be throwing out wild guesses. There could be hundreds of reasons for this.
