i have taken namecheap vps1 hosting. my site has 10k visitors a day. but again my site is getting shut down for 1 hr after every5 min. that means site is up only for 5 min in 1 hour. is there any other good hosting other than namecheap?

Hey how you doing, well it depends on your budget. I was wondering if you had given Site5 a try yet? I heard they are pretty good. Maybe you can provide me with more details on the type of website your running and how much are you willing to spend.

Have they given you a reason the site gets shut down for an hour after 5 mins of operation? Is it the host who is shutting you down or something to do with the server?

If you don't identify the "what" and "why" of the situation, moving to a new host isn't always the best solution as it may happen again.

There must be something wrong with the network, or the VPS config itself. When your sites are down, are you still able to access via an ssh connection?

NameCheap is a registar, they do not specialize in hosting. ;) I would recommend moving to a provider that specializes in hosting. How much ram are you using? I would get a VPS with KnownHost and or WiredTree or even get a Dedicated Server if required.

I feel there are some other issues with the VPS. Did you try contacting namecheap support regarding the issue?

i think you don't need to move to other provider, use connection limitation in httpd.config(if you use apache)

    also limit other resources.
