RAM stands for Random Access Memory.
It is a physical component of a Computer System.

There is a tip for your recent RAM Components:

Sometimes the RAM of your desktop computer is missing, although it is installed on the system. It may because of two reasons:

    1) Ram circuits may be burnt
    2) Ram points at the end of RAM may be coated with dust.

If its the option 1 then replace your ram.

If its option 2, then take a Sharp object like Knife or a Blade, Rub it on the Golden points of the ram. It will start working. ( Coz sometimes the points of RAM may be coated with dust )

The RAM is a primary memory its volatile types of memory, where the information is lost after the power is switched off
it takes the form of integrated circuits that allow stored data to be accessed in any order.

Random access memory is thee faastest and most expensive memory in computer after cache. the speed of computer is greatly affected by ram, the recent computers have a lot of RAM attached along with fast processors. the information provided is correct. but there are other reasons also when RAM fails. like when you attach extra RAM which has a different speed then the RAM fails to work.DDR3 RAMS have been launched.....

RAM stands for Random Access Memory this memory is volatile and all the data is lost when
system is powered off system speed half depend upon processor and half on Ram.When you will
upgrade your processor you must increase your ram.
