I have been paying an "expert" in SEO for working on my site, but I asked for articles etc to prove his work on site but the articles dont exist My site was #1 and in second spot (inner page) now it is on Page 2 of Google!!! Has my so called expert stopped working on the site? Causing my site to plummet off page 1!

From next time plz make sure that whenever you hire an SEO expert, get to know his last and past experience and submission of daily reports so that you may know the accurate happening or process going on with your website.
That is what I was about to say. Maybe he was spamming the links all over the Internet... Or, maybe he stopped working and your competitors worked harder than what your SEO expert did for you,
With the information that is given there are many options possible. From design/backlinks to external factors like the competition. Anyways make sure you dont pay at least not without any result!
