DP requires I wait 300 seconds between pms...very frustrating.

How do I lift this restriction

You can't, just wait 300 seconds. Its a method to stop spammers and frustrate the members.

 

Why do you need it lifted? So you can start PM spamming?

 

Wow, is that something new? I didnt' know we had to wait five minutes between PMs. I guess it's been a while since I spammed the joint! (j/k).. but really, I didn't know about this restriction before.

 

I really think this restriction is the baddest thing DP can do it. The less smartest idea. I was planning to pay subscriotion but for example for me When I want to contact many Link sellers, I cant wait 5 minutes. It is totally crazy. How can I do business on DP with this 5 minute lag? I really think DP should alow unlimited posts in the Sales Threds, people want to move fast to contact each other, we are not here on moon and time is very important.

 

1. Reputed members have no wait time (At least I don't)
2. It's the smartest idea to stop PM spamming.
3. You're probably trying to PM spam, thus the reason you want the restriction lifted

 

This option is very good for stop spamming

 

Sending 10 PM to link sellers is Spam? I am sick of users with 2000 posts that just think they know everything. The best idea to stop spamming may apply to your posts. thanks

 

I believe this restriction will be lifted when you get 25 posts and 2 weeks of time here (you'll see your username color change). I understand how frustrating it is to do biz with this limit but its only temporary. DP has to take this step to avoid new members that are registering just to PM spam people. We had this problem last year if I am not wrong and then I stopped receiving SPAM PM a while later so I guess this was among the reason. I am not sure with the other but I think personally I need to wait 5-10 sec between PMs. I think...

I think even 20, because Ijust saw 1 user that had 21 posts and his username was Black Green.

Now2, no need to provoke people. Even old member gets infraction for PM spam, even someone like myself ^^

Yes, I have been here for a long time and have contributed a lot, which in turn allows me to talk to new members as if I know everything. Of course I don't, but to newbs, I do. Please don't take that offensively.
