If antiesthetic means attractive for the searcher, I would. Aesthetics is an intangible thing. Everyone perceives it in a different way. What lacks good taste for you might be something really tasty for millions of people.
Just pay closer attention to how you phrase the title. The keywords do not have to be in a specifc order, or they could be broken up with other words in between. As long as you main keywords are in the title. Having them in the exact common search phrase is better, but if this looks bad then mix them around with other words to make it look nicer.
Have to agree on that. Don't you envy the people who can't stop blogging and exchanging links with bloggers not even knowing what they're doing (and how the heck they get all that traffic)
Get backlinks from content-relevant sites. And remember, Google can and does parse keywords out of URLs...
TOP TIP? Read this thread, AND THINK ABOUT IT.. There have been many tips here, but my advice is this..... There is a UK saying that says "take care of the pennies, and the pounds will take care of themselves". (pennies are the smallest numeric currency in the UK) What it is in fact saying is to look after the basic detail, as that way the bigger picture will fall into place. There is another saying that states. " learn to walk before you run". Many people try to run with SEO without learning the basics, but ALL that can happen that way is that you are SEEING what happens, rather than UNDERSTANDING what happens. Honestly, I spend probably 10 times as much time working out what the search engines are LIKELY to do in the future, than I do trying to understand what they are doing NOW, in fact what they are doing now doesn't worry me as i ALREADY have the answers. If you look backwards you run into something, if you look down at what is happening NOW, you trip up... IF you look forward you see everything that is coming your way! If you try to Reactive marketing (which is what algo chasing is) then you will ALWAYS be chasing your tail! What you need to do is understand the basics, and look at FUTURE patents etc, and TRY to grasp why they have patented this stuff. TRY to get into their shoes and think HOW this patent could help a search engine produce better results. The MOMENT you start doing that, you are on your way to becoming a TRUE search engine specialist, as you are ahead of the game, While others are talking about THIS algo change, YOU will be anticipating the next...... Then and ONLY then will you make serious money
And don't forget to start with a quality site in the first place. That is where all the time and effort should go while you are waiting for the traffic to show up. Then, if you have someplace worth going to, and you aren't getting the traffic you deserve, it is time to work on these techniques. Too many, way too many waste-of-bandwidth sites are out there. Their owners are pitting their skills against the search engines rather than using their talents to create something worthwhile cheers wiz
