    *Tell what could you do for 120 $.
    *Would you be able to get my site to the 1st google's page for a very popular keyword? (answer me in message) If "yes" tell me how much would that cost.
    *If you do a good job. We might hire you in the future.

    Sounds like you will go with the cheapest, then complain that seo guys are no good, then you will do it yourself, you have two choices

    1. Pay a decent rate to someone decent

    or

    2. Pay cheap, get a bad service, then do it yourself anyway
