Page Rank Not improved..?

Guys 2 weeks ago my web site page rank dropped from 3 to 2 , no page rank update take place that day just my site page rank dropped...
Can anyone tell wat happened with me. my site is allwheelsdriver.ca

It doesn't matter. Because PageRank has nothing to do with Ranking.

This is why a Page with PR zero can outrank a page with PR 3.

If you look at the top results for any Search in Google you will see that the sites are not sorted according to PageRank.

So what if it goes up and down. All that matters is that the right people find your site. I make a hell of a lot of money off of one site of mine that has a PR of 1 for the HomePage... And it gets thousands and thousands of visitors. I have another site with a PR of 3 and it doesn't even come close to making the money of the first site. Another with PR4 same story.

PageRank chasing is for Peons.

 

Just continue to build more links so that you page rank will increase on the next pr update.

 

Yes, backlinks may work, they will increase your PR.

you may not have the quality of backlinks.you should have to build more quality backlinks that help you to increase your PR.

keep on building quality links and you will improve your PR but don't worry too much about it

 

Does PR really matter for search placement now? Just make a research and you will see plenty of PR3 and 4 coming up on top in their respective keywords while lower PR pages turns up lower.

 

PR do matter but not the only factor. Backlink matters the most so just concentrate on getting quality backlinks than PR.

 

Sometimes it just gets stuck no matter what you do. Mine did. It just means I work even harder to get it improved.

To calculate the PageRank for a page, all of its inbound links are taken into account. These are links from within the site and links from outside the site.

PR(A) = (1-d) + d(PR(t1)/C(t1) + ... + PR(tn)/C(tn))

That's the equation that calculates a page's PageRank. It's the original one that was published when PageRank was being developed, and it is probable that Google uses a variation of it but they aren't telling us what it is. It doesn't matter though, as this equation is good enough.

In the equation 't1 - tn' are pages linking to page A, 'C' is the number of outbound links that a page has and 'd' is a damping factor, usually set to 0.85.

We can think of it in a simpler way:-

a page's PageRank = 0.15 + 0.85 * (a "share" of the PageRank of every page that links to it)

"share" = the linking page's PageRank divided by the number of outbound links on the page.

 

Maybe you need some quality backlink or revise the backlinks that you had to see whether it also has a dropped in their PR.

 

I really dono, why you guys crazy about getting high PR. What is the need or PR without traffic ? so get more traffic to your site first.

 

keep doing link building for increasing pr. but keep in your mind that the link will be quality links not from the porn, crack, warez etc.

Building links should work. However i always find it hard to find good and reliable link partners.

 

You should to continue your link building. Get more links as much as you can especially from high pr sites.

 

Google probably changed the algo for backlinks, so just work on increasing more links in order to sort it out.
