Hi guys, I wanna know which companies you like for having unlimited web hosting? i am about to dive in IM(internet marketing) so i am thinking of getting a hosting My thoughts: Hostgator - has great support! so far great justhost - i read alot of bad reviews about it but i like the 50% off coupon a big chunk out of the pocket money bluehost - this one is the runner for me i would like hostgator but with bluehost is much cheaper( i know that you get what you pay for but i dont have the money right now) does bluehost give excellent customer support? hostmonster - has the same price like bluehost but i dont know which one is better Fatcow - i like the price but i have doubts also Opinions are appreciated.
i think it's better not to compromise the quality. i recommend Hostgator. Jessica Leahy http://CollectWealth.ws
I recommend HostGator if you can afford them. HostMonster and BlueHost are great low cost web hosts and they are owned by the same company so either one you pick works
Thanks! +rep I think i'll go for bluehost? but in terms of customer support which one is better though hostmonster or bluehost?
HostMonster and BlueHost have the same support. 24/7 in-house (not outsourced) phone, chat and email support.
^ Total agree, but that is not only bluehost @korki4 Space and bandwidth are not limited, but memory and CPU usage are. Any way i prefer BlueHost/HostMonster/FastDomain
Just a word of advice, be sure to read the fine print in the terms of service, as most of us know there is no such thing as unlimited, while they may not be metering your exact traffic usage they will be monitoring your resource usage and if it goes over a certain amount whatever is causing the problem will be shut down, some hosting companies do this proactively and notify you when you begin getting close, others just shut you down. So be careful with the unlimited hosting packages.
That is extremely true, most of them go by system resource usage, and those that house thousands of accounts on one server it doesn't take long to meet that resource limit. It is one thing to have to get slowed down when you are using to many resources. What kills me are those hosts that just shut you down with no warning if it happens
THANK YOU.. I was scanning this thread and wondering if someone was going to mention that there is no such thing as unlimited 99% of the time unlimited means oversold, which means server problems, which means downtime, which means unhappy client. Plain and simple, and that other 1% of the time is reserved for hosts with over 200 servers, and the financial backing to make it happen.
But i dont think i can maximize the servers? since i am only planning to make 10-20 websites? or is that already a critical situation?
IMHO, HostGator eats the competition. Using their slogan there. They are the best "unlimited" host I've tried. BlueHost/HostMonster, JustHost, and GoDaddy are all crap in my experience.
From the ones you have listed in your original post, I believe HostGator is the one which is the best and you should pick them.
I would recommend you to contact the company's support, tell them your specific needs and see what they will offer. It will be a good idea to get all the things cleared before to make any final order.
Hi there, I presume that you are interested in Sahred Hosting only. Why don;t you apply any other criteria, not the "unlimited". Having "unlimited" option "switched on" for a Shared Hosting plan does not make the service good. There are a number of other things such as support, the way account management is organized, etc.
If I had to choose from the companies mentioned above, I would choose Hostgator, but I heard all positive about Inmotion. You could take them in consideration.
Hey, Try Dot5 Hosting. This is what I use for domain and simple hosting. However, when choosing a hosting company please make sure that you really find something that fits your needs. What are you planning to host?
