I'm currently looking to take on more work Whether it be one project or several. I have my own client list, but unfortunately a few of them haven't been so honest with me leaving me with a bunch of unpaid templates. Because of the loss of those clients, I'm looking to find new work. I am interested getting 1-2 ongoing relationships going - depending on how often a template would need to be designed. I've been contacted by a few companies in the past and they would outsource some of their workload to me. This is the type of relationship I like. **Please read full message before requesting. I am only a designer, I do not code. * Homepage must be completely paid for before I will do any sub pages. You can request as many subpages as you wish, but I will not start on them until you are happy with the homepage and have paid for it. If you have many subpages, I will require payment after every 3 pages. If you are on a tight schedule and need me to do multiple projects at once, I will require payment ahead of time. I cannot agree to do multiple projects without guaranteed payment - too many people have walked out on me after I have done 3+ projects for them. * I do not do logos and I'm not a great icon designer. If you do not have a logo, I will be placing in a text based logo design (you can see some of them in my portfolio.) * Payments made through paypal. * Any revisions are fine, and are very likely free. (The only way they are not is if it requires me to redo the whole page) * If your site requires paid stock photos, I cannot purchase them. I will try to use freeware stocks (from sxc.hu) unless you ask otherwise or purchase stocks yourself. I do my own stock photo collection that I will use if possible. *My delivery time is always dependant on how much work I bring in. I will have the initial mockup for you to see in less than 48 hours. If I can't guarantee I will have your initial design done in that timeframe I will let you know before I even start the design. *I am self taught in photoshop and web design. Because of this, I may not be familiar with specific web site elements. For example if there is a system that you are using that requires designing a special space or box, you'll need to give me examples or describe in detail what you need. Minimum Charges: My starting price for a standard home page: $45 Starting Price for each subpage: $20 Details of pricing: Recently I had to put a minimum charge because I've found that there are cases that what some clients ask me to do are really unreasonable for the price I charge. A homepage design will be the minimum charge 95% of the time, and the only time it would be raised is if the design was really in-depth and would require a lot of time (for an example: a social networking site with many different sections). The subpages are a bit different since I can't predict how in-depth each page would be. I recently worked on a project where I had a flat rate of $15 per subpage and had to do ridiculously long subpages that took hours (with revisions.) 95% of subpages should be more more than $25. Portfolio: http://kimkiyaa.carbonmade.com/ I do web 2.0 designs. I will be honest and say I'm not good for much else. I can attempt to do a flat design (design with no gradients or modern styling) but it's really not my strong point. What you see in my portfolio is what I'm looking to do. The only type of design I won't consider doing is flashy sale pages (ex: http://trials.nature-state.com/acaiselect), as I've found I am a disaster at those ---------------------------------- If you are going to request a design, the more information you give me the more I'm going to get as close to what you have in mind on the first try. Please include: - Required information or items - Suggested colors - Logo - Details of any ads (sizes/placement) - Photos/images you want used. - Site width - if you have no preference, my default is 960px - Wireframe (not required)- If you have a vision on how you'd like the site laid out, it would help to have a drawing or sketch put together for me to piece together. - Sample sites to either describe the type of style you're looking for and/or show elements that you'd like on your site (ex: you saw a different style login box on a page of certain style that you'd like to see on your site) - Link to competitor sites (And describe what you like and don't like if you have time) As I listed, example sites help a lot. Whether it be for layout or overall style, they can help me get the design you'd like quickest. Information about me: I do 95% of my communication through email, and I would prefer that. I check my email 10+ times a day. I live in San Jose, California (Pacific Standard Time), however I do have an odd sleeping schedule, which puts me working in the middle of the night. I do most of my designing after midnight my time, but I will be checking my email some time before and after then. My email: Thanks and I look forward to working with you, Kim
