Is Rewriting the Duplicate Content considered as Unique Content by google

    Hi
I had started a website couple of months ago and started to put the content on my web page copied from all other websites.
Google found it that the content has been copied and there is nothing original in it.
Now i have rewritten everything which was on the web page and nothing is Duplicate.

Do you think that rewriting that content will make a difference and will help google recognize my website. I have requested them to reconsider my website as it has been filtered down in the search engines.

    Please Advice
    Thanks

Depends on what a good job you did rewriting all content. you should have at least 70% unique content. Some people say 50% unique is enough to "fool" google but the more unique, the better for you. Reconsideration will take a while. I would assume at least 2-3 weeks. Maybe you can speed it up with a link to your site from a high PR site.
Best way is always to write your own content with your own words. In this way you can avoid problems with dupe content. Yes, it will take more time but it will be at least the save way of doing things and it pays out more. You always can hire a good content writer who writes content for you, if you don't have the time yourself. Please note the word "good". Automatically and multiple times spun content, that mostly doesn't even make sense anymore, won't be helpful either.

    Good Luck

The best response is this: Google does try to catch rewritten content.

Yes they do and their algorithm are getting better and better to do so.
And again on the other hand I have read posts here on DP where people stated they never had any problems with dupe content.

That's because there is no issue with duplicate content to be had (if it is on different websites, as per the op).

Always start your content with a paragraph of your own general opinion.

It really depends on how you rewritten the new contents, it would be better if you make the new content more complex with new information compare to the original one from your old sites.

Perhaps dupe content can only be triggered with both sites having the same template in used as well as copy and pasted content. Google sees our sites in the code level, and not how the body content has been written by the copy-writer. If else is the case, then article directories should be banned by now as they have the same articles published to by publishers distributing the same content across different article directory sites.

Rewriting the content is fine but all depends on how you have rewritten it. Even if you have rewritten really catchy and informative content it would take some time to come up.
