Does Google monitor non US/UK sites closer?

Are they quicker to ban a site not from a major country, like Canada, US, or the UK?

Are people from Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, or a Caribbean country more likely to be monitored by Google? More likely to get banned?

    I would have thought it's a given.

Sites from the 3rd world are simply more likely to be MFAs.

See, i cant see any issue regarding this. I m using google for more then 1 year. But they didn't get into me like you are saying even i m from Bangladesh a south asian country. Google follow some rules strictly, and these are Adult contents and Click frauding. He also doesn't support illegal contents, but give one chance to recover. But one thing i always get confused, whether they suspend an account, then what they really do with the money earned under that account!
But it really doesn't make any sense, google is a racial community.

    Regards

I'm pretty sure they give it back to the advertisers.

I think you should keep eye on NEWS... google was held in court few months back for not returning that money to advertiser :D

and to the main theme of the topic... GOOGLE follow the rules as strictly as they can. There is no reason of getting banned without doing anything against TOS.

LOL, what do you mean how? They know whose clicks belong to who, they just reverse all the transfers of money.

They keep track of everything. I'm sure they can just push a button and send all that money back to the original advertisers.

    Incorrect.

Google bans without warning and often times without giving the benefit of the doubt. Anyone who reads this forum should know that.

Google is ruthless when it comes to banning.

One should take all precautions possible to avoid even coming close to violating the TOS.

No, they just, you know, GIVE IT BACK to the advertisers who they charge for those clicks. You have to look at it from their POV: money from banned publishers are what, from a few bucks to a few hundred to a few thousand? That's nothing to Adsense. Pocket change. They refund the Adwords advertiser who they charged for the clicks generated via the banned account without batting an eye.

India is notorious for click farms.

LOL, hence the point of my thread.

I was curious to know if Google keeps a closer eye on smaller countries.

Specifically, I was curious about Google's attitudes towards Thailand, Hong Kong, and the Caribbean.

That's not what I asked. I said do they "monitor" sites from certain countries more?

As long as one is in full compliance with Adsense TOS it does not matter where one is.

My 2-cent view is that once one starts getting more than USD1,000 per month Google will scrutinise one's account closely. If the volume of traffic (and page impressions) does not justify it a grave has to be booked.
