well, i am not very new with photoshop, i know all tools... but i wanna know How to remove the background of a picture easily and smoothly? I use lasso tool to cut the background but its not very good and takes soo much time. but how do the studio owners do, like, they just do one click and background is removed smoothly. (my pic does not has 1 colour background) any help is appreciated.
You have to got good paths in the picture if you want fast and good result ("just do one click"). Try to find some tutos "how to use pen tool"
okay thanks all... i thought there is any other easy way... i can do this... but i prefer lasso tool then pen... but i'll try cutting with it.. thanks
I have not touched corel from the past two years... so, i think it would be difficult for me to manage in corel now!
I don't know, but from my experience I'd approach the situation by tracing the objects within the photo using the pen tool. The select inverse and erase the background from the photo.
it it the tool that helps you remove it quiclyly and smoothly at once , however, you find that you spend lotsof time removing background , you certainly are not understood the right way of the tool!it is real , you need get some help or advice from your trainer or teacher!
Yup, pen tool and delete background, but make sure erase or do some feather to make the image clean. Filter>Extract is another option
It depends on the image you are editing. There are lot of tools available in Photoshop like magig wand, quick selection, magnetic selection, etc.
I suggest if you use a mask if you need a clean output. But if you're not comfortable in either pen or mask then go back to lasso. Then I suggest to burn the sides or blurred the edge maybe it will help.
Duplicate layer .. keep backgroud layer using ctrl + Shift + I then delete .. The top layer use Lasso magic for selection ...
see this link "http://www.melissaclifton.com/tutorial-pentool2.html", .I hope it may help you... good luck
Hello ! Lasso tool is good, but as you want smooth look , I'll recommend pen tool as others did. That is much much better. See tutorials for lasso and pen tool on tutvid.com. Photoshop category. May be it will help. Peace.
