How useful is this online tool for generating leads

Wondering what people's take would be on this tool www.invokerainmaker.com

You need a Google Analytics account to use, but it pops up the names of the companies that visited your Web site, their contact info and how they used the site. There's a limit of 5 companies.

I'm thinking it would be useful information for sales staff?

    Thanks

Not really seeing the value. If I have a visit coming to the site I should already have places to capture their contact information if interested and/or purchase or participate. Snagging info from visitors who had decided to stop by and not participate seems a waste of time. I OFTEN visit sites just to review layout, copy, structure but have ZERO interest in their products or services.

I see your point ... It does have a "sincerity" setting, which - as near as I can tell - only produces repeat traffic. The tool also grabs the keywords they used to find the site ... so you could, I guess, get a hint at what they were looking for by that. While it takes a some time to return results, it seems like something a salesperson would like to know?

I suppose it's one possible way to generate leads, but it sounds sketchy at best.

I agree I am not sure I see the value either However it is free so there is nothing in seeing if you find value in the information over time.

I don't think it'll help much, as newsletter opt-in is enough to get prospect who "some what" interested in your site.

Also, can the site like this hack your google account in some way (I think it can if it is decided to do so)?
