I just developed website, we are going to organize hen parties and child parties in UK. http://www.go-crazy.co.uk Have an idea outsource link building process, but not sure how to do that properly, and how much funds I need for this. Should I ask for XX PR5 links, XX PR4, XX PR3 links. Or Just ask links from UK, or event related websites, or better order seo analysis? Is 100$- 200$ would be enought, for link building, or is not worth to with that budget?
I'd start with doing some basic SEO / link development myself. That would include submission to directories (which means you need to identify keywords and create a good description text), social book markings, forums etc. The experience and facts you gain from this should be helpful, when starting to make good outsourcing decisions. Buying an existing high PR domain and transform it into a blog in support of our web site may be a good idea as well. Me myself is considering to make use of web based services concerning link building. Just that I still need to figure out which one offers the best cost benefit ration to me.
Doing basic seo myself, will not work, can not become SEO specialist, I already do too just much stuff myself. Thanks for suggestion about directories, soacial bookmarks, forums. Forums seems is the best case for clients for us right?
By basic SEO I don't mean going into specialized details. Actually it's only making sure your pages have title tags, your internal linking is working properly and adding a host of backlinks you can get quite easily. And that would be the social bookmarking sites, directories, etc. Forums are one of the most easy ways to get backlinks. But most of those best links are quite useless, due to the volume of links on forums. The most potent one should be the backlink on your profile. So, if you register with many forums, this should get you some usable backlinks. Also, you may consider setting up your own blog, which will assist you with deep linking to your pages.
Be very careful. With a new site, you need to start off carefully vs. a site with established back link profile. Your site will be under increased scrutiny right away and any one type of specific back links isn't the right route in my opinion. You should find someone who understands that and will treat your site better than they would treat your own. Typically, when you are trying to outsource link building you find people who are more interested in their services vs. your goals and ambitions.
Unless he is link spamming, there is no problem with getting a few backlinks to your site. Anyway the first thing to look at would be establishing the top keywords for your site.
This is definitely a good idea, but how about relevance? I mean, aren't the places where you place backlinks supposed to be contextual with your website?
Preferable yes, and you can use google search to give you the forums were you can place the right links. Just make sure it filters for vBulletin and phpBB forum adding some relevant keywords to your search.
So basically, one shouldn't look for just any forum, but for the ones which are related to their niche. It makes sense... Thanks! Also, you said that: Why is that?
Because vBulletin and phpBB forum usually allow you to add a do follow link to your profile. The main keywords just let the more relevant forums rank higher in your search.
Oh I didn't know that! I thought that you could post do-follow links in pretty much every forum... Thanks a lot for the insight man!
Other forums often do allow that as well, but sometimes they don't. Once you know of another forum script usually allowing for that, then it's certainly fine to include that in your searches.
Nice idea Torsten. My only question is whether rate of back linking is important ? Because search engines will not like a high rate of back links and can penalize for using black hat SEO techniques.
You can try linkwheel which is very effective, Press Release Syndication, Article Submission, web 2.0 profile links .. however all should be from High PR and should be do follow.. else no use ... related niche blog commenting in High PR blogs with low out bound links are good as well. BTW.. I do provide services as well if you need any let me know.. Thanks check this Thread
This is true things should go slow and steady and backlinks should come from all sides not just 1 kind.. like forums or blogs.. mixture of everything makes sense and natural as well.. always prefer manual linkbuilding.
Just how quick is he going to be, if he registers/submits manually to forums, blogs, SB sites doing some SEO on a siteline? What you refer to is risking a penalty for having thousands of links submitted in an automated way. Also, I think he first needs to identify his main keywords and key phrases.
Which process is thousands of links automated.. Press Release or Linkwheel??? Non of the process is spamming and is Syndication of news content.. how can that penalize a site??
Still, I say go after links (contextual links) from other geographically related sites and also sites and industry specific directories. Build up citations to your maps listing and I would absolutely save link wheels and forum profile links for a later date (in small numbers is fine) but you wouldn't want all your links from these. In the wild, would people link to your site in profiles? Doubt it.. That's what you are going for after all. Listen to me, I'm not peddling any type of back links! It's amazing how anyone selling a specific TYPE of link always pushes it the hardest. Need proof? http://www.seo.com/blog/10-link-building-strategies-for-new-website-or-business-owners/ Logic says this is the natural progression for a site "in the wild" so this is what a GOOD link building company would do for you.
