It's risky, but on the other hand SEO it's time consuming and the help of a professional might be worthed. However if you choose to go for a professional SEO company you should check it well first.

When you get stuck somewhere trying to figure something out about SEO, come back here and ask questions. We would be more than happy to help you out.

But, I think you're making the right decision here anyways...

And, it wouldn't hurt to buy a few SEO books out there too...

Hi Mate, read this guide SEO - Webmaster Tools from Google himself. In it you will find almost all the things you should watch out, questions you must ask and other important things you should do before engaging the help of an SEO.

... lastly, there are no guarantees my friend.

guys, i think SEO is almost dead now.. there are many social media sites which have huge traffic . these days people like to go viral.. there is not such guarantee that the result provided by search engines are true and accurate.. . SEO has almost sopilled the quality of website. Try viral marketing thats the best way . I bet seo will be dead within 3-5 Years.
Twitter, facebook, and many social sites in near future will kill search engines like google, bing and baidu...

Depends if they're social media gunslingers or not. Some of them charge a hell of a lot more than that to take down high-volume keywords.

it should be worth if you will earn more than what you'll be paying. be careful whatseocompanywill /cando though, some of them use blackhat just to impress customers.. it should be more worth if you yourself learn the seo. :D

If you have that kind of money to spend, I wouldn't spend it on SEO, personally since you can do stuff by hand in a week or 2 that will get you AWESOME results. Why bother? I've bought SEO and I've done stuff by hand... personally the SEO is faster, but the problem is the results seem to stop faster, also.. meaning a drop income - NEVER GOOD.

There are a lot of great SEO firms out there I've heard, but I've never gotten great results. That does not mean these people are not skilled or brilliant at what they do, but great results doesn't make me money. Money makes me money. lol You know?

So, if you want more than what you have to spend I would invest time or buy domain names or buy a site that already has some income & make it make more...

    :) just what I think!
