I got up the guts to ask my dad, and he said yes (Easily!) I was afraid for nothing! I tried signing up last night, but I don't know - the AdSense page was HTML (just black on white!). I tried signing up via there, but something was always wrong? Help? Link to real sign-up form or something?
Make sure your browser isn't running AdBlock Plus or a similar plugin - that blocks the AdSense pages from loading.
Make sure that your Adsense account is tied to your parents account if you are under 18. You risk getting your account banned if you are not at least 18 years old.
Remeber not to force people to click on your ads, for example putting the text " click on the ads ". Doing this will get your account banned.
Daddy... can I please signup for Google Adsense?? Well... ok son. You are 13 now and a man. Gee thanks dad! Just remember son... when they ban you, you don't know me. ok dad. ROTFLMAO.
Good luck, TechyRadhika! I envy you starting out young; you have a long time to learn, experiment, and get better and better at this business -- if you decide to stick with it. As others have said, avoid clicking your own ads at all costs! And don't ask friends to come to your site and click ads, or anything like that. These are classic newbie mistakes with Adsense (and I've seen older, seemingly more experienced folks do things like this, too). Keep it on the up and up! Again, good luck!
uh... the kid is 13. See this post "I'm 13. I admit it." From the Google Adsense Terms and Conditions... "By enrolling in the Program, You represent that You are at least 18 years of age..." https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms
1st of all - I'm female... 2nd of all - I don't think he knows about the banning.. Shhh! I won't, and so far, I didn't. My site looks pretty cluttered, but I supposedly earned 66 cents. I don't understand AdSense. ;; Thanks! I just wish I started off 3 years ago, when I started blogging/internet marketing (though I didn't know I'd need my parents permission) I know. As long as I have my parent's permission, it's fine.
