I agree it looks more like a video portal not a search engine, i think you need to highlight the fact its main function!
Pretty nice, it does actually work as a search engine. Though It looks like a blog and I think you should change this or you will confuse your visitors.

Agreed, you should have somewhere at the top what exactly your site is all about. It wasn't until I started clicking around that I found out what exactly your site was about and that was after reading what you wrote here.
