I am reasonably new to this but I would say just by itself the domain is a tough sell. HOWEVER - I personally like it and I think it is "brandable" - I would buy it - do a video blog about pubs in your area - rank them on service - atmosphere - do a Facebook Fan Page - grow the membership of people following you - to say 1000+ then start selling advertisements from local pubs - host events (get commission on sales) - talk to beer enthusiast groups etc. Maybe more work that you were thinking - or a subject (beer) you aren't all that interested in - but I am sure you could make money on it - especially if you are in a big tourist area and/or an area with a lot of good pubs competing for business. I like it - but I also like beer . . . .

I wasn't really sure but I know its a good name. It could be used for either the reason you mentioned or even sport since most ordinary people giving their views are referred to as Pub Pundits. You interested in buying or something?
