Is anybody else seeing a 75% decrease in CTR the past couple of days? My impressions have held steady, but Infolinks wants me to believe that my visitors have gone from clicking 50-70 links a day (for over a year) to less than 10 over the past few days.
Well well.. I thought I am the only one suffering this. Infolinks were not loading properly in my websites on 2nd and 3rd August. My CTR dropped to 0.33% and 0.81% from the average of 4.00%. The eCPM is also dropped to $0.02 from $0.3. You guys rock, but this can not be accepted.
What a coincidence; That is when my earnings went down as well... August 2nd. My site has been consistent for over a year, and then over night it is like somebody flipped a switch. Now the past couple of days my impressions have been cut in half, but on the first couple days of the decline my impressions were normal but with a HUGE decline in clicks. I don't want to accuse Infolinks of shenanigans, but something wrong is definitely going on (intentional or not)
Since Infolinks doesn’t have any advertisers of their own it makes perfect sense. I use Kontera and though I have seen a seasonal drop my performance is still good. I suggest you give them a try. Remember they actually use technology to deliver their ads so optimization may take a week or two.
wow, perfectblue.. your stats does seem wrong. I have only 1/3 of your impressions but twice of your clicks. Hopefully your problem will get sorted out
Hey Sarah, That is great that you guarantee the highest revenue share, but a high percentage of nothing is still nothing. I have a question for you. Do you think people are stupid? When your system calls for ads we can see where it calls to and I haven’t seen them come from you (your own network of advertisers). I have seen your ads come from enhance, looksmart and a few other 3rd party feeds, but nothing from you. So to say you have these advertisers is a direct lie. Let me see the IO. Thanks again for your input, but no thanks.
You are taking the original topic to somewhere else and that's making me think you as a Kontera Official. Just to let people know that Infolinks compensated me for those two days with my prorate average revenue. I am happy
I got an email saying i will be compensated $10 .... but still did not reflect in my account. Awaiting for it
well so i m also in same boat, where i used to make a good amount, now with same impressions and same no of clicks,i m just getting 1Dollar,seems like era of infolinks has come to and end, time for us to move to some other company,
so they are giving you a 10$ dose, and you are happy with that?that's weird, instead of fixing the problem and optimizing it for everyone, they are just making a single Publisher happy and that also with only 10$
I've had drastic decline in eCPM rather then CTR. And earnings dropped heavily. It's started in July for me. CTR and the number of clicks have been consistent in past year so not sure what could account for such a drastic drop. Gone from earning 20 to 30$ per day to 2 to 3$. I am considering switching back to Kontera but I imagine it is gonna take a week or two to determine what I could earn with them and if it turns out it is same or worse then I end up wasting those couple of weeks. But if earnings stay this low I guess I'll have nothing to loose.
Hi DP Members I have wrote Infolinks Support a mail, week ago. Still no answer. CPC / eCPM drastical dropped, from 12$ / day to 1.2 - 1.5$ day. Don+t know what ' s going on (Infolinks publisher bhatack)
Yeah, no reply here either. No explanation... nothing from them at all. I am supposed to sit back and assume that 80-90% of my visitors just stopped clicking links. I'm switching to Kontera until I at least get a response from support.
I also got the same problems plus the CPM goes down also, When i send the support email I got the reply after a week! I hope that Infolinks get back to its track when we were earning around $3-$5 a day from this. - Imran
