I've been slacking on trying to launch my sites untill now so far I bought traffic and building backlinks each day for my first site. I added bidvertiser since I was banned from adsense along time ago, but haven't seen a single click (started an account yesterday might be why?)

Anyways I want to get my forum active but not sure the way to go. I heard mturk would be good, my budget would be $100. Would a $100 referral contest be better?

Lastly which niche be better to start or would be more successful

Ps3Exploits.com - gets better traffic, have been on working it but niche isn't that broad

CodingAgent.com - 2 years old, haven't really done anything with it

Forums are hard to start. You need a good site that attracts people first, and then let them know about the forum.

I would first get away from it being the main attraction for either. You need to give people a reason to visit, then you make them know about the forum.

I agree, it shouldn't be your main attraction. if you can get enough steady followers, people who come to your site daily to read your post, then the forum will take off naturally.

Otherwise if you want your forum as the top spot make some post that give things away relevant to your niche, Free reports, stats things like that. if people read those they will have questions nd your forum can grow from replies.
