Hi all, Let me provide you the fair example how other website copy your content and paste it in their website. Now, Zest Infotech Should Learn to have unique content instead of just copy paste from other websites. The whole content of their SEO page is copied from Neuro SEO Services' Search engine optimization page I was amazed when I see the copyright statement in the bottom of the page they have, they really should learn now. See the Attachment -
they have no ethics... the real b******s. want to be rich overnight. you should be ashamed of yourself ZEST
That's interesting news. By the way, where did you copy your content from? Mind checking out this url? http://www.manuallysubmit.com/search-engine-submission-&-Optimization.htm
Aha is that the fact? Then how come they appear in the first page of a Google search, whereas your site is nowhere there. I am sure Google would have penalized them if they were copies of your site, instead of ranking them 1st? But the biggest joke is that all of them are (supposedly) SEO companies, but have zero PR, including yours. I do not undertake SEO, but if you so want, I can try to help. Just my 20 cents (have to consider inflation)
Parsibagan, some excellent observations. Mit: confess up. Your knowledge of SEO is very limited, as I read your articles. Also it contains a considerable amount of misrepresentations and parts left out. I do not know why anyone would consider stealing this "valuable work." You mention relating SEO to article directories. Non SEO articles end up in article directories, just as well. True SEO articles contain top ten Google search phrases for a subject. That is what drives traffic and conversion to a website. No white hat, or black hat added "SEO" links are needed. The article will stand on its own merit for years. There is not wrong about complaining, however complaining about stealing information about quite useless information does not justify itself. Complain, but realize that some here may check to see it you really know SEO. Wrong information hurts every article writer here. A good article/content writer is committed to offering good service for the price. Stretching info, and half truths is not right--------------
It happens, I tell you one of the site had complete copy paste of our website, and after a strict warning, they deleted all the web pages from their website. I don't know how the information is useless to you. But I am sure, there are people who can take this example and will care for their content now. Now, FYI we have made a call to the company and already warned them.
Thanks a lot for taking appropriate action. I am sure that the `other will shudder' (DY, I can write poems too) before copying from your website. Please do me a favor and warn the following too, because they have also copied from your site. Awaiting your feedback. Best of luck. http://www.quantumwebworks.com/about/ http://www.creativewebpromotion.com/madhyapradesh.htm http://www.articlealley.com/article_1270367_62.html http://www.itvidya.com/knowledge/blog/search-engine-optimization
Thanks again for your keen eye. Personally, I consider the rip off's a compliment. They are exposing their own inadequacy in providing products they know so little about. The http://www.itvidya.com/knowledge/blo...e-optimization site is a good example. They are selling 1,000 backlinks for $9.99. A sign of being desperate. Also with little knowledge. 10 authoritative RELATED sites that someone can locate themselves, will provide more benefit. In fact Google is tracking down these "backlinks farms" just like they did link farms in the past. They will be penalized, the users will be penalized. An article channeled properly would provide you 500+ relevant backlinks, by the way. The creativewebpromotion site is selling snake oil that reeks with cobras. Do this, write any article about SEO, and get it indexed. Here is where the customer is misled. Google: Your name, SEO keywords in article. Of course you are going to appear #1.----- OF COURSE this is a #1 for a search on your own name and your own terms. The client is totally extorted by false SEO. Now if you ever wanted to set up shop, just steal a person with SEO authority's comments, and twist them to your own delight. There are too many people wanting to get rich quick, that this method actually works. The OP does not even understand my comments! I can sleep at night, to them I say steal but watch out for the pythons that can do more than bite back. ------------------------hope that this makes sense----------------------
Today most PHP-based websites have CURL enabled, sadly that's what makes easier the ripping off content
MYSTIQUE, THANK YOU FOR BRINGING UP AN EXCELLENT POINT For the benefit of sharing, explain to others how this works, as it is a point that they should well be aware of. If you desire, explain also how sites from WordPress can have the feature, where the info in the blog, is not detected as duplicated coverage, even when repeated within the website. To add a comment. If a website were to make their own slide presentation, stealing any of my words. They would go undetected. Google at this time has the power to read the contents inside a .pdf file but not inside a You Tube or Personal Slide show skin.
I am not into website designing or graphics, but in my opinion, a simple transparent image layer over the important text would make it impossible to copy by highlighting. Links should and and always can, be placed at the top & bottom of the page. @dyadvisor: That is because in youtube & personal slide shows, the text is just another image.
Parisbagan: On the text point you make, yes that is CURRENTLY correct. Following a few of the search engine trends of those who almost devote their lifetime to following bits and scraps of Google plans, the writing is already on the wall. According to them, because of owning You Tube, and their who knows what capabilities, Google is attempting in the future, to read any text stored in a video or slide presentation.
@dyadvisor: not attempting, Google has already implemented it and is already giving more importance to images (apart from just the `alt' tag). As far as OCR of text in images that are changing at around 24/36 FPS is concerned, it is still in the fuzzy stages. The problem lies in the faulty designing of the characters. Many modern font families like Bahaus, Kabel, etc., do not follow the guidelines set by Gutenberg, whereas OCR programs do religiously follow the parameters set by Gutenberg +-5%.
Thank you for the update. That means no more hiding stolen data, or duplicating text for wrong reasons. Glad to see you have also explored "The Gutenberg Project." For writers this is a treasure chest of some of the greatest works of mankind. Forgotten works are being brought back in written form. For writers seeking to improve creative writing in articles, here is a wealth of information. Also it can provide some research information, few others may be aware of.
Gutenberg rocks. And there was a rumor some time back that Gooooogle were trying to automatically analyze movies. No idea whether it worked or not.
