I need more then 1 account on paypal, may I have more than one account with same identity??? please share your experience...
Yes, you can have one personal and another premier or business account! But you will need different bank account and cc for it.
I think you can make any number of PayPal accounts until you have diff. bank accounts and CC accounts to verify them.
No, having known multiple accounts on Paypal may lead to ban of those accounts. According to terms, you can only have two paypal accounts at most - and that too must be one personal and one premier/business. However, if you are smart enough to be able to use different IP's and clearing both Local+Flash cookies, you can easily create and use any number of different accounts you want.
Hi, According to Paypal's terms itself: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/terms-outside#user_responsibilities "No Multiple Accounts. Should you register for more than one Personal Account, PayPal reserves the right to terminate all of your accounts and will restrict you from the system going forward. Users may register and hold one Personal Account and either one Premier or one Business Account." You are welcome..
Thanks, but it means you can not open multiple accounts with same name. What about, if I want to have multiple accounts with different names, like each family member is having its own PayPal account but operated from same IP? Thanks
Paypal will treat those accounts belong to a single person if they are from same IP's and cookies and may eventually ban it. (I have managed to get my accounts banned in this way and learned the hard lesson). However as I said previously, if you want to use multiple accounts, just take these precautions and you are safe. You can just use any number of accounts from the same computer without any worry of getting it limited or banned if you follow these three things: 1. Different IP's for different accounts: It can easily be done as most Broadband service providers in our country (BSNL, Airtel) resets the IP address automatically upon switching off and on the modem once. You get a fresh new IP every time you restart the broadband modem. 2. Delete Internet Cookies: Make sure to clear the normal cookies before using another account. 3. Delete Flash Cookies: Make sure to clear the flash cookies too before using another account. Or better, disable the flash cookies completely. Let me know if you need more details about any of the step mentioned above. I learned it because I too used to have a lot of multiple accounts for different ID's. But I soon got entitled for a Business account and now I can use different ID's in the legal way. Now, I only have that single business account for all my payment needs.
I got a warning message when i hold several account from the same ip , but it happened few years back . by now i'am sure that that might have developed advanced ip tracker to find you even if you clear all the cookies and delete all your internet history
In its terms and conditions, paypal allows 2 accounts as described by digital_shubhi But when I tried to create a second account, It asked for PAN number ( I am in india) and when I put it, it said that PAN number is already in their database. Now, noone can have more than one PAN numbers, so no one can have more than one accounts I guess. I did not allowed to create account without PAN number. So the multiple accounts rule is futile now. ( I remember that I has one more account in past without any problem, but then I decided to close one of them to escape any possible problem.
It's possible to create two Paypal account - one personal and other premier or business account. But, it's better to stick with one Paypal account. It creates problems when entering PAN and Bank account details.
I have diff. PayPal account, Diff. name and PAN number (all real and are of my family members) I operate them from same IP.
